Oh Ok cause I went ahead and downloaded it again and same thing, its on the very last speck and the bar is spinning as it says preparing update
Sorry for the late reply. It's actually kind of decent. For something to tiny, the image quality is great. I'd say the only problem I have with it is if you're the kind to shoot a bunch of pictures and videos, it blows (in comparison to the Pro Max, which really shouldn't be a comparison). Past that, it does the job.
Pre 14.3 you could find buried in screen time the ability to turn off the annoying notification saying a shortcut was being ran. Now when I run an automation the "running your automation" notice shows up again. And the ability to stop it in screen time settings is conveniently no longer available. Thanks for the progress Apple!
how long does it take? Im on the very last speck the download already completed and its on Preparing update its been 5 min already and it keeps spinning

Yeah, I was just thinking of having it on the side with my 12 Pro Max as the daily driver. I think I might pick it up today.
Forgive me if this has been addressed or if I overlooked it in the patch notes, but any word of this fixes the messages/notification bug where you’d get a message but no notification?
Noone mentioned that here but it's too early to know my friend. I am having also the same bug. They are slow at fixing critical bugs but so eager to release new emoticons.
still on preparing to update..my 2nd time trying to install this, how long does it usually take very strange, I know its a big file but this is kind of ridiculous its literally on the final speck of the update

For those who updated to the new firmware and cannot see the Fitness+ tab at the bottom of the Fitness app, a restart of the device did the trick for me.
Charge during the day? I woke up this morning with my mini having been off the charger for 24 hours and had 33% left. Best battery life I’ve ever had in an iPhone (never done the big phone thing).
Bummer. Hopefully it gets fixed. It sucks because, as I’m sure you’re aware, it marks the message as read and everything but I didn’t even see it lol
I noticed on OS 14, updates take forever. That preparing update message has been annoying me for the last couple of months.
