Did For meThat has nothing to do with it. I have a 245GB with almost 120GB free and I had the problem. Downloading again was the solution.
Seems to be an Apple issue not a user issue.
I had that exact problem as well. Once my iPhone 12 Pro Max installed 14.5, the AW download started automatically.OK... Now it's installing on my phone. But Apple Watch is giving me an "Unable to Check for Update" error and repeatedly does so after tapping "Try Again." Never seen that behavior before.

I’ve really appreciated Apple Pay on the watch during these times. I’ve always thought the watch was the coolest way to pay. While I agree it would be great to be able to use FaceID for Apple Pay with the Watch unlock feature do you really need it if you are wearing an Apple Watch. Just use the Watch.
5G improvements
- Dual SIM support enables 5G connectivity on the line that's using cellular data on iPhone 12 models
Bold: AFAIK that does not work. While I agree it would be great to be able to use FaceID for Apple Pay with the Watch unlock feature do you really need it if you are wearing an Apple Watch. Just use the Watch.
