Looks like HomePod got an update as well. Mine is downloading… something…

Update - false alarm… My homepods were weirdly downloading something. But it wasn’t an update…
I wonder what was that????

I think Apple have pulled the software update for HomePods as several other people having the same issue as me where the software download was there and now it’s disappeared

Thank you for letting me know..I figured something was wrong when on the home screen it kept on saying "downloading update" but nothing was happening

i have turned off/on mobile data still nothing iPhoneXSMax

Did you manage to successfully update your HomePods. Mine said that the software was downloading and then suddenly disappeared. No message saying the update was installing. When I do a check it says that my accessories are up-to-date but my HomePods are still on 14.4
Same happened to me but it suddenly went to 14.5 and no I not on home pod beta program

Raise to wake is still kinda sluggish on iPhone 12. Animations are better but still some choppiness here and there like when pulling up the now playing full screen in apple music.

Nope….. it’s disappeared again lol. Something strange going on here. I think I’ll leave it to automate itself
I always leave updates on manual dont want to have to deal with maybe installing a bad update or something so I do it manually..maybe apple saw an issue with the homepod update and removed it..its happened before, I think last yr a homepod update was bricking homepods, thank goodness I didnt install it but many people did

I'm not having any luck getting it to show up in iTunes. It seems like it's not even checking when I click check for update. Is there a way to force iTunes to check? Anyone else waiting to update via iTunes?

*edit* Eject your iPhone and plug it back in. That worked for me.

*edit again* No, it did not. I get an error that it is not available when I click download.

*edit once more* Okay, ejected and tried once more and now it's downloading.
I have a G1 SE without a SIM card that I just keep around. I'm also running High Sierra, but with the latest (?) iTunes. When I started iTunes it said there was an update for the phone, but telling it to download and install didn't do anything. I went to look for App Store updates and there was an update for iTunes. I installed that, then started iTunes. Told it to download and install the phone update, but then up came an additional 'software is missing' update. I had to install it before iTunes would do the right thing. It's installing now. It was a bit weird. Oh, it's installing 14.4.2 on the phone, instead of 14.5. I thought I already had 14.4.2, but there's no way to check now. Will try for 14.5 after.

Later: Don't know why, it did 14.4.2 again. I had a screenshot...it was on 14.4.2. Now it's doing 14.5.

iOS wants me to update over Wi-Fi, and it shouldn't be that way because I am on 5G, and yes, Allow More Data on 5G is on.

I turned the phone off, then back on, then it allowed me to update over cellular.

Why is that?
