Damn, this thing is running buttery smooth on my 13 Pro Max. ?
Just discovered this feature myself. If you go into System Preferences > Passwords, then click "Edit" for any password, you'll see a new "Notes" dialog on the bottom.what does this mean?
They seem to be extremely reluctant to add new apps. I find it bizarre that all access to Apple Card on the iPad (where you have a big screen that makes looking at lots of data easier) is hidden inside of Settings, while on the iPhone (where you have a small screen that makes looking at lots of data harder), it gets a spot front and center in the Wallet app.I am Flabbergasted Apple hasn't released a proper iCloud Keychain app. Burying it inside the settings and offering limited features makes no sense.
Yes, this could have been released earlier. However, I and many others still wear a mask.Who is still wearing a mask? Day late and dollar short Apple.
No, only 12, 13's I believe. So I guess the mask thing doesn't work with iPhone XS Max? I don't have the mask option.
Maybe they're focusing on converting current macOS and iOS/iPadOS applications to Swift first. Once the conversion is done and all applications share one base for all platforms, then maybe Apple will build more applications that can easily be utilized across all platforms (ie, Find My is an example of an application that uses Catalyst/Swift and are the same across all platforms, but scaleable).I am Flabbergasted Apple hasn't released a proper iCloud Keychain app. Burying it inside the settings and offering limited features makes no sense. I would (potentially) move from 1Password to iCloud Keychain if this was something they were serious about.
It took a couple times of setting up my faceid to get it to work on my 12. Plus I have glasses :/ But it does work. I think you need an iphone 12 or higher to have it work.So I guess the mask thing doesn't work with iPhone XS Max? I don't have the mask option.
I wonder why Apple excluded the iPhone 11 series from the Face ID mask unlock? Is it a hardware limitation or is it forced hardware obsolescence trying to get those users to upgrade to a newer iPhone?Unless you have an iPhone 11
Agree. The beginning of Skynet!!. What is next Apple?, make a reminder while offline?, show my next appointment’s, reminders and alarms in a widget?. Maybe in IOS 25.Siri can provide time and date information while offline on iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone 11 or newer
This is innovation in AI!
iOS 15 is a vast improvement for my 6 year old IPP 12.9 first gen. iOS 14 was a hot mess for me. Makes me not want to upgrade (that and $970).I hear you. Living on 14.8 on my Xs and iPad 7th gen. Made the leap to 15.1 on a spare 8 and not very impressed.
This was stated in the FaceID enrollment process.Face ID still doesn't work with mask and sunglasses on.
For sure!, I don’t know if you have tested Face ID on a 12 or 13, but it unlocks 245% faster, from 3 meters away, recognizes retina’s arteries at microscopic level and uses nano X-ray technology. It is the most advanced unlocking mechanism ever in a smart phone, some say that the Pentagon uses the Face ID module in the 12 as a scanner to control the access in top security wings.I wonder why Apple excluded the iPhone 11 series from the Face ID mask unlock? Is it a hardware limitation or is it forced hardware obsolescence trying to get those users to upgrade to a newer iPhone?
I can’t believe there is “bald guy” discrimination in the emojis still!!!!. Lots and lots of colors but no bald guys other than a useless face. 96% of the emojis are used less than 0.000001% of the timeI can't believe they just added the dismayed emoji :/
TIL creating this technology takes only days, maybe weeks.2 years 2 late Apple
