Me, and about 80% of the people I saw in two different stores in my area over the weekend.
I know this is a loaded topic and I don't want to get into politics here, but let's just acknowledge that there are people--a lot? a few? whatever you want to think--that are for the continued wearing of masks quite aside from mandates. You could look at this as a mechanism by which mask wearing increases. Perhaps some percentage of those that don't currently wear them would wear them except for this issue, and might start wearing them again. That aside from mandates, the inclusion of this by Apple for recent iPhones could result in (what is considered by some to be) a public benefit. That's good!

In Passwords, I think the password being hidden until you tap on it is new. The monotypeface used for the password looks different too but I’m less sure about that.

Siri can provide time and date information while offline on iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone 11 or newer
So the incredibly fast A11 Bionic from iPhone X can't handle Siri providing time and date offline? I mean... Wow... Even 4s should be able to do this.

RC was released a week ago.
The problem was that MacOS and iOS/IPadOS RC news was posted the same time that all the post peek performance event threads were being made and the server was slow. (Tuesday 11:19 AM PST) Yes it was like an avalanche, and it got buried.

iOS 15.4 and IPadOS 15.4 should be heavily downloaded due to what it entails.

Yep, FaceID feature to unlock when wearing a mask, except very few people are wearing masks anymore.

Oh well, at least we'll be ready for the next outbreak.
Actually there are a lot of people who wear masks in their daily lives (regardless of the pandemic) and this will make it easier for them. I still wear my mask, while I am out or at work, because I have health issues and I do not count on the fact that the person trying to breath in my face (people like to stand on top of people these days) is as careful as I am.
