But a lot of people like me still wish to play it safe and wear a mask. So this is big update for us.Just in time. Most mask mandates have ended!
My state is on the list already and already has an app. That has to be negotiated on a state-by-state basis, I'd guess.
Perhaps that is slated for iOS 16?My state is on the list already and already has an app.
Me, and about 80% of the people I saw in two different stores in my area over the weekend.Who is still wearing a mask? Day late and dollar short Apple.
Thanks for letting me know. I will adjust my plans to allow for that. ?I’m downloading it now in case anyone is wondering.
I know this is a loaded topic and I don't want to get into politics here, but let's just acknowledge that there are people--a lot? a few? whatever you want to think--that are for the continued wearing of masks quite aside from mandates. You could look at this as a mechanism by which mask wearing increases. Perhaps some percentage of those that don't currently wear them would wear them except for this issue, and might start wearing them again. That aside from mandates, the inclusion of this by Apple for recent iPhones could result in (what is considered by some to be) a public benefit. That's good!Me, and about 80% of the people I saw in two different stores in my area over the weekend.
Yep, FaceID feature to unlock when wearing a mask, except very few people are wearing masks anymore.Great now that wearing masks is not required.
Unless you have an iPhone 11Yep, FaceID feature to unlock when wearing a mask, except very few people are wearing masks anymore.
Oh well, at least we'll be ready for the next outbreak.
So the incredibly fast A11 Bionic from iPhone X can't handle Siri providing time and date offline? I mean... Wow... Even 4s should be able to do this.Siri can provide time and date information while offline on iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone 11 or newer
Seems a bit late, rule to have masks indoors in public places has been removed where I live (Vancouver, Canada)A bit early, no?
The problem was that MacOS and iOS/IPadOS RC news was posted the same time that all the post peek performance event threads were being made and the server was slow. (Tuesday 11:19 AM PST) Yes it was like an avalanche, and it got buried.RC was released a week ago.
Hospitals, health facilities, airlines, and public transportation all still have mask mandates and likely will for a while.Just in time. Most mask mandates have ended!
one more month they say, here in the USA... but by then we may have a new variant or spread pick up like it is in China againHospitals, health facilities, airlines, and public transportation all still have mask mandates and likely will for a while.
Actually there are a lot of people who wear masks in their daily lives (regardless of the pandemic) and this will make it easier for them. I still wear my mask, while I am out or at work, because I have health issues and I do not count on the fact that the person trying to breath in my face (people like to stand on top of people these days) is as careful as I am.Yep, FaceID feature to unlock when wearing a mask, except very few people are wearing masks anymore.
