Does anyone know if it is still possible to use another 2FA method (such as SMS or a code pushed to a trusted device) if hardware keys are activated? I have an iPad with Lightning port (which does not support NFC, so it does not work with Yubikeys except for the 5Ci), so I'm wondering whether I'd still be able to login if I ever set it up as new.

Anyone tried if it’s possible again to use Aitplay with an external display connected?

Does anyone know how ADP works? Do you just need a recovery contact or also need to pair it with a recovery key?

I only have two devices (Macbook and iPhone) as well as an external encrypted hard drive (Time Machine) and I am wondering what would happen in the very unlikely event my house burns losing all of my devices and I could not access my Apple password or my ADP recovery key?

PS: I guess I would use my recovery contact's help but I do not know know my Apple password as it's in my password manager so would I still be able to access my account through this way?

Hilarious that Apple broke loads of people’s setups, pulled the upgrade and now just zero mention of any of it. No fix. Nothing.

This is how I expect a company like Eufy to behave, not a Trillion dollar tech giant.
The problem could be with the Homekit hubs (Apple TV or Homepod Mini) which play a more important role with the "new architecture". So there is still a chance that they could fix it with TV OS or Homepod OS updates.

I'm not seeing tvOS or audioOS updates?

EDIT: Apple also only shows tvOS 16.3 RC as being the latest version but that it's not publicly available, so maybe this one is coming later on with audioOS. It doesn't seem like Apple has a press release for audioOS releases, but my hunch is that someone forgot to publicly release it, or it's coming closer to HomePod 2's launch.

last update broke my Neato vacuum / homekit /Home Pod Mini abilities... while the previous previous one fixed it. Eager for the homepod updates to see what adventure ensues this time around.

Oh it absolutely is. I suspect nearly all the issues with HomeKit are down to the hubs. But given the magnitude of this problem, I expected this would be a priority fix - instead we got temperature and humidity sensors 🤔

Edit: actually, maybe I’m being a bit hard on Apple. They also gave us “remastered ambient sounds” so I guess that makes up for 6 months of absolute chaos.

I can’t see the update in iTunes. Anybody knows why?
Want to try a different way than OTA this time, as my 14PM still have a lot of bugs

That depends of the service, some of them present a optional send a code as SMS or Email.
Once you add security keys to your Apple Account, it only works with your security keys.

No TV OS?
Everything has an update today; it's just a slow rollout. My phone and watch got the update right away, but everything else said I was up to date.

My MacBook just got the update about 15 minutes ago.

My Apple TVs and HomePods still say there's no update available.
