Downloaded and selected install - Now I'm in an endless power up loop... Apple logo flashes on black screen, goes away, flashes again, goes away and on and on and on and on. Been doing this for nearly 30 minutes.

Tried hard resetting by up --> down on volume buttons and then holding power and it hasn't fixed it.

Shouldn’t have done that. Update is supposed to go through a few cycles, you’ve probably messed it up. Should have just left it alone until it finished.

So far, 16.0 looks good for me. Just got it upgraded, but realize I have some apps to update. After that, if it checks out, it goes on my 8 Plus as well, then I can start the Monterey update.

Shouldn’t have done that. Update is supposed to go through a few cycles, you’ve probably messed it up. Should have just left it alone until it finished.

I did leave it alone... but then after nearly 30 minutes of watching it power cycle every 1-2 seconds, it was clear something was wrong.
