Instead of my custom wallpaper, my home screen is now just showing my lock screen solar-system diagram as the background.

[ETA: Re-editing my Home Screen wallpaper in Settings fixed it.]

Really hope this fixes WiFi issues that were introduced in 17.2 with iPhone 13 Pro.

I'm new to the betas. Does iOS 17.3 beta presumably already contain these fixes? Or does one have to downgrade to get them? Assuming you can downgrade?

Hopefully they fixed the bad battery life on 15 Pro Max. My 13 Pro Max did a better job by far.

Why do these updates show up on my phone immediately when announced on MacRumors but take quite a while to show up in the Finder, when my phone is connected to my Mac?

I am old school. I prefer updating my devices in the Finder, rather than over the air.
Came the x.x.1 updates ever on finder/itunes? Not only OTA?

Next backup size still isnt showing up in icloud. It just says loading. Other ppl had this problem on their macs, but this is on my phone. My new phone that I just bought in october to be exact. I thik it mightve fixed the glitch where it didnt show the right app size for messages app under icloud storage. I think thats what mightve been causing the icloud backup to increase instead of decrease so much. Even when I had 0 texts and manually deleted them. I also have the messages in icloud turned off. I have 25 contacts 1 photo 0 texts so I couldnt figure out why my backup storage was increasing instead of decreasing when I didnt have much on my phone. I noticed it took a week from Monday to last night to recalloberate itself.

I have a different wallpaper for my home screen than on my lock screen. After this update, my home screen wallpaper was reset to be the same as the lock screen one. I was able to resolve it by switching to another saved wallpaper and back, but that was still really odd. Has anyone else had this happen?
That broke for 17.2 for me. I was hoping this release would fix it. I fixed the wallpaper once and then it broke again.

Someone test the macOS syncing 😂 please
Testing now on iOS 17.2.1.

Been syncing for 5 minutes already. Still stuck on Step 2 Preparing to sync.

I'll give it another 5 minutes and then declare iOS 17.2.1 did not fix the syncing issue and nuke the MDCrashReportTool with

pkill -9 "MDCrashReportTool"

in Terminal to force sync to resume assuming that workaround will still work.

Yep. iOS 17.2.1 did NOT fix the syncing issue

But this still works to resume syncing:

pkill -9 "MDCrashReportTool"

in Terminal.
