Yup, same thing happened to me. I was able to fix it by switching to another wallpaper and back, but the problem comes back after a reboot.Instead of my custom wallpaper, my home screen is now just showing my lock screen solar-system diagram as the background.
Yeah, I am not seeing an update for iPadOS 17.2 to 17.2.1, either. Only iPhones are showing an update available here.No iPad update to 17.2.1?
Came the x.x.1 updates ever on finder/itunes? Not only OTA?Why do these updates show up on my phone immediately when announced on MacRumors but take quite a while to show up in the Finder, when my phone is connected to my Mac?
I am old school. I prefer updating my devices in the Finder, rather than over the air.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Does that honestly work?I leave everything to auto update. Set it and forget it.
IF a watchos update would disable SpO2 and not mention it - Apple would get suedSomeone please update this and check if the Apple Watch sensor still works and that they didn’t disable it in this update
Why?!? It is the same for me as well.
That broke for 17.2 for me. I was hoping this release would fix it. I fixed the wallpaper once and then it broke again.I have a different wallpaper for my home screen than on my lock screen. After this update, my home screen wallpaper was reset to be the same as the lock screen one. I was able to resolve it by switching to another saved wallpaper and back, but that was still really odd. Has anyone else had this happen?
Testing now on iOS 17.2.1.Someone test the macOS syncing 😂 please
“More ways to block services trying to get into iMessage” 😉"update provides important bug fixes" - typical apple as-clear-as-mud explanation.
WHAT bug fixes?
Yep. iOS 17.2.1 did NOT fix the syncing issueTesting now on iOS 17.2.1.
Been syncing for 5 minutes already. Still stuck on Step 2 Preparing to sync.
I'll give it another 5 minutes and then declare iOS 17.2.1 did not fix the syncing issue and nuke the MDCrashReportTool with
pkill -9 "MDCrashReportTool"
in Terminal to force sync to resume assuming that workaround will still work.
