so, literally the only thing I was excited about was the live voicemail feature... now only to realise this feature is only available in the US and Canada... WTF!? Nooooooooooooooooo!

I wish you didn't have to have it on a charger in order for Standby to work. My battery is solid so when im at my desk working, I would like to have it sideways for the clock without having to charge.
Yes, especially on the 14pro if it's using the active display (looks like it is but can't tell for sure)

Installed on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Few minor changes seems to be there, and none of them I checked actually worked 😂 (it prompted me to set up a photo when I open the Phone app, then I tried calling someone and nothing seems to be changed).

Just updated - beyond the contact card which is useless as I’m first through the iOS 17 gates amongst my contacts, nothing has changed. Poor update.

From what I have read like 50% of all new features are still missing in the final release. By the time its all available we'll be heading towards iOS18 and iPhone 16. Whats the deal?
Apple never claims all new features will be available immediately, just that they will be a part of the OS. Even if they released those features in the last point release of the OS, it would still be fine.

There are subtle refinements throughout the OS. I for one am happy that this seems like more of a maintenance release. I expect next year will be more feature-rich.

Asking for a friend...
Get 17 now or wait for 17.1 later, after reading how iOS 17 acts/behaves on the iPhone 13 & 14 models by reviewers?
Why should you ask others when you can see for yourself how it behaves?

If you don't like it, you can downgrade until the latest version of ios16 is signed.

I don't see a single reason to make a choice based on what others say.

It's like traveling without headlights at night.

If I was on the latest Publix beta, how do I now get this Offical release? I selected “Beta’s off” but still doesn’t show me like there is any update

SEVENTEEN major iterations of the OS now. Would it kill them just to allow the option to put a fu@king number row above the QWERTY row on the keyboard???? Without some hack or app add-on? Geez!

They could do this very easily, but it is simply not a change thats even on their "to do" list.

This is why they allow keyboard add-ons, so you can get this feature from someone else.

same here, keep click on "check for updates" and nothing...
Has it worked for you. I had to leave for work and couldn’t kept on trying so I could have a semi-working phone I had to update it from the iPhone itself which I honestly didn’t wanted to do.

I wanted to erase to factory settings from iTunes but it didn’t found a new update until 1:35 pm.

I kept on trying “check for update”
“Restore to factory settings”
Quiting iTunes
I even restarted my Mac but nothing

I still can't see iOS 17 through Finder in Mac OS. Is anyone else having this issue?
it just finished downloaded via finder, but i had an error about

At some point appeared, 7.77 gb...downloaded, but it showed me an error about not enough space on my mac and install failed. Now checking again and nothing...

Most of the time the RC is exactly the same. It’s why there is no reason to migrate from RC to public release except to end beta testing participation.

I do seem to strongly recall they were different last year. Of course iOS 16 was very buggy for months after release and essentially its entire lifetime if you count the abomination that was autocorrect.
