you should know by now apple doesn't add all the features to older models.
All I can say is ABOUT FREAK'N TIME!
Aren't there HDR apps you could use instead?
Not surprizing... it takes a lot of speed to take 3 pictures quickly. I wouldn't think 3GS would have the processing speed. (or a flash to adjust for darker settings), to capture 3 pics that quickly without introducing blur.
For those wondering, this is bit-for-bit IDENTICAL to the GM that was released last week. There is no need to download this if you installed the GM.
Evidence? It's not a true HDR. It uses 1 photo, and post processes it.
guessing it might be a different time here as I'm in England
I've connected my iTouch a few times and keep being offered 4.0.2. Does anyone know if I'll need to download and install 4.0.2 in order to be offered 4.1 or will I be able to jump straight to 4.1 when it is available (guessing it might be a different time here as I'm in England)? I assume I can just jump up but want to check![]()
HDR is only for the iPhone 4?? It's not enabled on the 3GS, that was the big thing I was looking forward to in this update..
Early reports indicate there is noticeable improvement but not huge performance gains.Updates from any 3G owners? Anyone of the 3G owners here update to 4.1 yet? How much faster is it? Worthy enough to give up my jailbreak to get significant speed gains? Or is it only slightly faster? I been managing my 3G with sbsettings on my jailbreak. This allows me to kill off Mail, iPod, and the browser, which are running in the background and leaching the already limited memory that the 3G has. I also like that I can watch HIGH QUALITY videos on YouTube now over 3G mobile instead of it only working when on the WiFi.
So unless the speed gains by 4.1 are significant enough, I will hold on to my jailbroken snail.
You should be able to go direct. Just let iTunes do the thinking.Do you have to install 4.02 first or can you go straight from 4.01 to 4.1?
