Apple Releases iOS 5 Beta 2 to Developers

Can someone confirm whether wireless sync triggered from the device works WITHOUT the iPhone being connected to a power source ?

Great! Sorry for all the questions, just one more. How long did your first backup on iCloud take? I'm doing my first one now (I usually just use the PC) and it's been saying 4 minutes remaining for about the past 15 minutes and progress hasn't moved a bit!

That said, the whole "Sync at night whilst charging" thing seems a bit pointless to me... at night while my iPhone is in its dock charging my computer is off/sleeping.

the overnight thing is just an automatic one ,you can manually do it whenever

Did you perform the first backup with the cable? That's what is recommended by Apple. If not, your first backup may take significantly longer.
 
WOW my iPhone is syncing via wifi and i'm not plugged into a power source, I have a juice pack attached and the iphone thinks it's plugged into the mains SWEET !!! :D
 
Can someone who has installed beta 2 confirm a few things please?

1. Music.app with bass booster on, does the music still sound bad eg: crackily and bad quality!

2. Does the native YouTube app and the m.YouTube app still have performance issues?

Info - MobileMe mail works now

Previously in iOS 5 beta 1,

If you added a MobileMe email in the mail app [new accounts], it would reject the request with a crazy message.

Now MobileMe works too.

I've done several backups with the cable, including one just a few minutes ago. Then I turned iCloud backup on and tried to do a backup, and it told me 4 minutes remaining, then I went out of settings and back in, and it now said 10 hours remaining! I know that it was uploading though, because it was causing my download speeds to drop to nearly zero while it was uploading. I might just let it run a backup when I go to bed tonight.

Any word if streaming apps are working yet? (Air video, Netflix, hbo go) That was the only thing keeping me from using beta 1 on my iPad.
 
So what are the steps to this? Do I install iTunes 10.5 beta 2 before or after iOS 5 beta 2, or does it matter?
