I have my iPhone 4 running the iOS 6 GM. It says I'm running the lastest version of iOS 6. It also says the same thing on iTunes. I'm running the latest version of iTunes also. Has anyone with the iOS 6 GM been able to update?

Attempting to download iOS 6 OTA at school was a bad idea. It keeps fluctuating between nine minutes remaining and three hours remaining. Damn you college students using all the bandwidth playing WOW!

Can you update to this OTA from the latest beta? I never went to GM as it wasn't OTA, I'm still running the latest beta on iOS6 and haven't gotten any updates to show as of yet (Dallas)

Dowloading iOS6 for iPhone 4S via iTunes - 40 minutes

via OTA - 5 minutes =O

Same with OTA iPad 3 - it's much faster than iTunes!

I had GM, restored to 5.1.1 and hit Check for update and it went through.

Which is weird when you think about it because the iPad 1 came out after the iPhone 3GS.

I know... that's why I keep forgetting that it won't get the update. <sigh>

NY city, had to delete some games to free up the 2.5 GB for OTA, went from 27 mins remaining to 9 mins remaining (yay!) to 37 mins remaining (Boo!)....

Actual time was under ten minutes for iPhone 3GS to get to 'preparing update'.

I had to hard reset my phone to get it to show up.

I have done a hard reset 3 times. Also, how much of a reset can it be if it doesn't actually close any apps.

Oregon City, near Portland, everything complete, photos now restoring.

Don't be alarmed if your iTunes iPhone capacity bar goes all yellow then slowly starts filling in your audio, photos etc.

Praying nothing goes wrong or gets deleted. So far so good. Have almost 14,000 photos so it's slow, have to weed them out.

Just installing mine on my 4S and iPad2. The download is a lot faster (about 12 minutes) than the actual install of the software is. Time to play !!
