Yeah the clock app on iPad is new, it's the same black one on the iPhone.

They haven't turned on any higher res maps for the Uk so now the iOS 6 maps app is practically useless unless you live in one of the VERY few cities to have flyover

Everything seemed OK for me. Backing up after updating now. It updated the UK carrier file for Orange UK and now it's showing as 'EE' - Everything Everywhere.

Says it requires 2.5GB of space on my 4s....do i get any of that space back or does it occupy that permanently?

I will know that in a minute. Mine asked the same for 2.5GB

I was glad to see that you can use Google Maps in mobile safari on IOS 6, so there is a workaround for now.
