New Maps are really, really bad. I can't emphasize that enough. They couldn't even find route from my place to another city. "No Route Found". I'm praying for Google Maps to return. Plus the colors look like ass.

We're so accustomed to google colours. But just like when walkers made blue salt and vinegar crisps, we'll get used to it! Or was it blue cheese and onion? I'm still baffled 10 years on!

Haha.. No I was asking as I had the GM ipsw.. I did install the GM but reverted back to 5.1.1 as the maps was a deal breaker..

I didn't wanna redownload the file I already had.. So just confirmed..

Utterly disappointed at the decision of not allowing iPhone 4 users to use FaceTime over 3G. Totally unreasonable.

An all round pretty basic update, nothing too exciting.

Anyone found that Passbook isn't working? The "App store" link takes you to a blank page where I presume there are meant to be different passbook apps to download but there isn't.

The satellite images on the new maps are pixelated and turn into error signs if I try to zoom in.

No, you need to restore or else it'll get stuck during the update.

I know nothing, but I'd guess it's like when your mac hibernates - the state is written to flash. So the phone knows it was running, but the app is not running.

Just downloaded iOS 6... and the only thing i dislike is the new search function in the App Store.

Bad move Apple, bad move.

Also...there's nothing in Passbook and when i click on the App Store button it connects me to an empty page and says "Cannot connect to iTunes". Anyone else having this issue?

Yeah, possibly down to there being nothing in that category of apps yet?

Hopefully some of the UK supermarkets that I use pre-paid shopping cards with will adopt Passbook apps.

I had to reset mine to finish the update. It was stuck on an empty progress bar - no activity in iTunes.
