Well I have updated to iOS 6 on my iPhone 3GS and I have to say, so far I am pleasantly surprised. It doesn't feel any slower and everything seems to work pretty smoothly. Although my iPhone has no apps or music on at the moment so its possible that it will slow down once I add all that.

New Maps are really, really bad. I can't emphasize that enough. They couldn't even find route from my place to another city. "No Route Found". I'm praying for Google Maps to return. Plus the colors look like ass.

too bad for your area. The map works perfectly on my iPhone.

Why did they remove the titling animation on the mutli tasking menu volume control?

My update on the iPhone has said "less than 1 minute remaining" for the last 10 minutes...LONGEST MINUTE OF MY LIFE!:apple::apple::apple::apple:

I had to reset mine to finish the update. It was stuck on an empty progress bar - no activity in iTunes.

all turned out well.

i know for sure this week i'll get a complaint from someone I recommended an iPhone to that they lost all their text messages during an update and it's my fault.

So much for OTA update, said I had to connect to wifi to get it. I am currently on a wifi connection that is so terrible it is estimating 2 hours for the download.

As I experienced in iOS 6 beta 4....

The maps really are not that great. The biggest thing I miss is no more Street View.

Does anyone know if the option to Toggle 3G is still there on the iPhone 4S on o2 UK ? (and also, just out of interest, Orange, Vodafone) thanks.
