...which requires a reboot. Not bad, constantly hiding memory leaks.

It's interesting to see how people are so uninformed about other competing systems. Microsoft updates its OSes once a month, every second Tuesday of the month.
Of course there are some times urgent hot fixes that come unscheduled, but this is not the norm.

Count me in as another user who did the OTA update on a 5 and got kicked into restore mode. Restoring from a couple day old iCloud backup. iSigh.

Really?

Wish I could go back to iOS 1.0. Hated 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

You might as well get a Nokia 1112 and it will be better.
Hate when people make such as stupids comments. Ugh!!!
In spanish: Que manera de hablar ******!!!

Running some Linux servers with one Windows only service on a Windows server. Uptime on Linux is over a year while the Windows machine has to be rebooted 1-2 a month with virtually all updates including some app updates. If it goes longer we usually reboot anyway because of memory errors.

Sorry, back to iOS 7 discussions...

Well, this did absolutely nothing to help my problem where my iPhone 5S and iPad Air get stuck on "Waiting for changes to be applied" during sync. It's been 15 minutes and my iPhone is still sitting on that step.

Waiting... waiting... waiting...

I hate when people are so gullible and make a fool of themselves online.

I am still baffled at the kind of program that wanted me to reboot back when I used Windows. It seems to have gotten better, but I so rarely reboot that the concept is almost weird to me.

On another note, you must have some pretty crappy memory.

Waiting... waiting... waiting...

I still find that the most unhelpful message diagnostically.

I mean... you are waiting for changes to be applied from the moment you hit the button...doesn't exactly narrow the problem down, does it?

What part of that do you find unhelpful? There is a step in the iDevice sync process (usually 7 of 7 if you're backing up) that begins with the display saying "Waiting for changes to be applied." That's the message Apple gives me, and it's at that step that it sits there for literally half an hour. If I had more information, I would supply it.

no problems

smooth update on my 4th gen iPod touch. i never use FaceTime however. wonder if it fixes anything else in v6

Really dude? I get random resprings a lot, the music app still does suck and animations are barely improved since 7.0. All valid complaints.

How a mediator hasn't suspended you from the forums for name calling is mind boggling

Name calling ?!?

You were complaining about "resprings" less than an hour after the 7.0.4's release ...
While iOS 7 is far from being perfect, it's not windows 95 ...
So you have a faulty device.

WAAAAAAAAAY more people use the music app than FaceTime. The fact that the music app is still a mess that crashes all the time is ridiculous.

How do you people deal with that Music app at all? Let's say all the bugs were fixed. The design is still complete crap. It punishes anyone with a large music collection, forcing them to scroll like there's no tomorrow to listen to the latest album by an artist.

Anyone else experience this:

iPad3
Currently on iOS 7.0.3
Click "Download and Install" for OTA iOS 7.0.4 update, which downloads the 16.9 update, and shows the "Terms and Conditions" window with options to "Disagree" or "Agree".

BUT - the "Terms and Conditions" window was just a huge, blank, white square without any text at all.

I tried the "Download and Install" process twice, and had the same result each time.
Same for me ... On the iPad 4 was ok, but on the iPhone 5 "Terms and Conditions" was a blank screen.
The update worked just fine nevertheless ....

Music App is not my favorite for sure, but I do listen to music at least 3 hours per day and I hadn't any crash.
I agree with you that song selection is poorly designed, but I can't understand why people speak about bugs or crashes.

Just because you don't have crashes doesn't mean no one does. That doesn't make a defective device. That is a pure troll and fan boy remark.

iOS 7 has lot of resprings compared to iOS 6.

Calling someone a troll is name calling and I will report it.

You just did it :D
May I have to report you too ? :p

Several resprings in less than an hour after installation are not a common experience in iOS world, and surely are an indicator for a faulty device.
Broken hardware or a corrupted installation/app I don't know, but it's not iOS 7 fault.

I didn't speak about animations: you may or may not like it. But several resprings in less than an hour from release are not iOS 7 fault.

Ps: in all my experience with iOS 7 I had ONE respring with my iPhone 5 and ZERO with the iPad 4. I'm not very happy with iOS 7 (battery drain comparing with iOS 6 is something I don't like at all), but it surely isn't an unstable os. The problem is either in your device or in your installation/ software installed.

7.0.4 runs even smoother on 4s. I'd say its as good as 6 now.

Seems smoother in ipad 3 now too. Rotation animation is way smoother.

Bricked

My 4S bricked on OTA. Also iTunes refused to download the software. Had to pull it from the dev site.

Thx Apple.

In iPad Air with clean installation, and NO restore backup...
Resprings
Low Memory (a LOT of Low Memory)

Apple, this is a bull ****!

This is a Beta product with Beta software, Apple don't recognize...

Well I might just end up getting the update anyways cause last time the iOS 7.0.3 came out my phone started acting up. My phone had been fine before then ,so I didn't plan on getting the update, until later in the day my phone started acting up..the same problems ppl had before the iOS 7.0.3..so I had to get the update.luckily it's been working fine since then, but still made me paranoid to the thought that Apple had messed up my phone to make me get the update..sounds stupid I know but still -.- ......

How come many of you getting your updates failed (so called bricked)? I updated an iPhone 4 and iPhone 5S. there was absolutely no problem. And my orientation feels smoother now compared to before. but apart from that I haven't still found any other change. Hope this fixed app switcher bug where when i try to close the app the screen shot of the app vanishes but the app icon remains there.
