This may be just in my head... but TouchID seems to be much more responsive... I use my phone a lot, and prior to the update, both thumbs and index fingers on either hands were hit or miss...they're seemingly able to unlock the phone with much more accuracy now.... who knows..

I just noticed this too. But I think I need a few more days of use to confirm that.

Lock screen status bar icons are still bigger than on the home screen/in app.

iOS 7 is a move in the right direction with regards to a more pared back and minimal GUI, but the details of the graphic design are downright sloppy. For such a detail driven company I don't understand how such sloppy graphic design is allowed out the door.

I don't really get this: do people really use FaceTime or it is just a "cool" feature you're happy to have but never really make use of?

are you suggesting that there is a better way to video chat on iphones and ipads or do you just not understand why people would want to video chat?

Sometimes the text labels and buttons dont line up properly and appear in the wrong spot.

That was pretty much always there in iOS 7. Seems likely that it was a design decision.

Improvements on iPad 2

The update is great for me. iPhone 5s OTA 6 minutes; iPad 2 OTA 18 minutes...

The iPad 2 seems faster; one dictionary app I use all the time which was optimized for iOS 7 previously, but has always been slow to launch was fixed with this update. Now it launches almost instantly rather than taking 6 seconds, as it has for years.:)

As for deleting all you photos....
Hmmm still no way to delete all photos. I wonder if Apple will ever bring back that functionality.

I've got news for you friend: in my case it WAS iOS 7 and was confirmed by the Genius Bar rep.

(cue meaningless reply from know-it-all who doesn't know all the facts)

I have the same issue - one day my battery was fine, the next (after iOS7) it seems to have gone insane. Battery level goes down and up and down, shuts down at above 20%. Phone goes red hot and drains in a couple of hours.

What did the Apple store do for you? Mines out of warranty so I guess I'm stuck with it.

Blank TOS screen

Anyone else experience this:

iPad3
Currently on iOS 7.0.3
Click "Download and Install" for OTA iOS 7.0.4 update, which downloads the 16.9 update, and shows the "Terms and Conditions" window with options to "Disagree" or "Agree".

BUT - the "Terms and Conditions" window was just a huge, blank, white square without any text at all.

I tried the "Download and Install" process twice, and had the same result each time.

Still on iOS 6 till iOS 7 is optimized and the GUI fixed. Which means I'll probably never use iOS 7 unless I buy a new iOS device, which is unlikely since I'm poor. Sold stuff to buy an iPad, but while waiting for the new iPad to come out, eating and bills took away all my iPad money :-(

here in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates the telecoms have requested apple to disable Facetime and sell. Now there is a huge demand for grey market becuase they want Facetime. Many use facetime. Its really great as far I've see its better than skype. Some stores here sell the one with Factime for 25-100$ more for the iPhones retail price depending on the location and storage capacity.

Really why?

Have you guys tried restoring and "set up up as new iPhone" ? I did that it it solved my problems. Before I just updated and backed up

But that would mean i would lose all my data.

Mine was still a month within warranty. What you can try is performing a full restore (back up first) without using any 3rd party apps. Do all the usual battery-saving steps. Wait for the phone to shut down and then make an appointment with the Genius Bar. Ask them to perform a diagnostic, which should display the erroneous shutdown(s). Explain to them that you rely on your phone for business and politely insist they replace the phone, preferably with one running 6.1.4. since it's been proven that iOS 7 is the cause of the issue. If the diagnostic shows any hardware damage, then you're out of luck. But if you can prove it's software related, then they should either flash the phone back to 6.1.4 or give you a replacement. I was honestly shocked when the rep gave me one running older software, but I am one happy camper.

Remember, be polite but insistent, and ask for the supervisor. Good luck!

iPhone 4 also updated without any hiccups. A bit of a lengthy process, but the phone is working just fine right now.

From the few hours of usage after installation, iOS didn't crash like before when I very quickly swipe through the multitasking interface. Also, Touch ID seems to be more accurate and quick!

yay... 7.04 is here.. :)

As for the Apple TV 6.0.2 update :-

"There are apparently no new features in the update. The release notes only say that the software “includes general performance and stability improvements.”

Still looks and runs awful on my ipad 3  where is my glossy and smooth transitions
