You aren't impressed that features that weren't going to be in this update aren't actually in the update? Doesn't seem surprising, and not really what people would have expected anyway.

Feature lock/freeze generally occurs in GM, there was no GM this round.

- First bullet is a bug no?
- Dark keyboard was in the betas. Just because it wasn't in B5 doesn't mean it won't be brought back.
- Theres been discussion of the cellular toggle in the CC.
- I thought there a disable parallax option that was separate from the animations in one of the earlier betas but i could be mistaken. Haven't had my coffee today.

Slider is new, but worth a mention. Simple solution to common subjective complaint.

This will probably have close to 100% adoption rate given all the complaints about how bad 7 is.

I expect it to be high, but I doubt 100%. I'm not giving up my Jailbreak with IntelliscreenX and BiteSMS for a bunch of minor tweaks/UI changes.

i really can't get over how smooth and responsive 7.1 is on the 5s. Amazing update. I'm so glad that i didn't hold on to 7.0.6 just to be able to jailbreak.

Yes it's surprisingly fast on my brothers iPhone 4.
Lag is almost 100% gone. Really usable on iPhone 4 now.

Now Siri knows when to stop listening.
Manually control when Siri listens by holding down the Home button while you speak and releasing it when you’re done.

The Home button is very delicate and sometimes breaks during normal usage.. now you can hold it down when talking to Siri?

It's been like that since 7.0.2. It only does that when you have Touch ID enabled.

I thought this update allowed you to resize your wallpaper so that it isn't zoomed in all the way? I tried to resize it but it still zooms.. is it in the settings somewhere?

I think your background may be just obscuring the new design. It is a lot sharper than before.

Try changing your background to one of the bright single color defaults to see what I mean.

Edit: Oh, right 5S. I'm silly. There may be an option under passcode (moved to main menu). Don't have a 5s to test it with though.

No more Wi-Fi Sync

Great,

almost instantly after updating our 4 devices (iP5, iP5s, 2x iPad Air)

- NONE of our devices syncs over WiFi anymore and
- NONE of our devices can't see/show/play/stream TV Shows from our iTunes libraries anymore

Anyone any idea why / how to solve this???

It's a damn shame Apple patched the jailbreak. Steve Jobs is gone, why can't they just forget about the BS and let people do what they want with their phones? ******** if you ask me.

Really? this thing is fixing a huge amount of security holes that they need to fix - regardless of the benefit of the jailbreak to us

I'm pleasantly surprised, my 4S is nearly twice as fast as with 7.0.6! Much more usable.
Still a bit disappointed they haven't brought back the zoom animation when opening apps, which was removed from the 4S in the first update. The fade animation they put in instead is really slow.

Do you have Reduce Motion turned on? As far as I know, the 4S still has the zoom animation unless it is disabled under the accessibility settings.

Camera dynamically shows if flash will be needed or not (when in auto) when you move your phone to a brighter or darker place.
At least in the i5.

I think its done this for a while, hasn't it? In a software update after Touch ID came out at least.
