Great,

almost instantly after updating our 4 devices (iP5, iP5s, 2x iPad Air)

- NONE of our devices syncs over WiFi anymore and
- NONE of our devices can't see/show/play/stream TV Shows from our iTunes libraries anymore

Anyone any idea why / how to solve this???

markus

A message popped up after I updated OTA that said I need to plug my device into my computer to (re)enable wi-fi sync. Maybe something like that happened with yours.

you gotta give it to apple, they know how to work their marketing magic making things that have been there before and "forgotten" seem "revolutionary" ;)

Yes it refreshes but i've had many tabs open and it doesn't even blink in terms of crashes. Vastly more stable.

Crashes did not happen very often on my Air. Someone was kind enough to give an example of a web page that caused a crash most every time. After I installed 7.1, it still crashed.

I'm not sure I like the new Calendar Search View. Before, it was sort of a "back door" method of getting the old list view back. Now it seems like it is only a true search feature. The new "monthly" calendar view with a list shows only one day at a time. I liked seeing a list of appointments spanning multiple days.

If you select a day, the list-view button changes from a box with lines below it to just lines. Tapping that gives you a true list view of all appts (that spans all days).

Seem to have lost the transparency on bottom bar, it's either solid grey or another colour but no transparency?

7.1 Killed app doesn't stop background location

So in 7.0 - 7.0.6 when you would kill an app through the app switcher, if that app was using background location, it would stop that background location. Now in 7.1 when you close an app through the app switcher, the background location doesn't stop.

This sucks, i liked it the other way.

Nope. Still there. Easier to see in Safari, with an ad banner on a white background page.

Circular Buttons

Each to his own, but I actually quite like the round buttons. I completely understand where you're coming from, though... It was perhaps unnecessary, but it personally doesn't bother me.

Sir Jonathan's obsession with circles continues!

I agree! I wouldn't mind if we had the option to have the icons circular, too! :D

16 tabs and no crash yet. It's in one of the tabs too while I type this.

May be your cache is corrupted ?

You have no refreshes with that many tabs opened? I get refreshes with 5 or 6 opened, grant it may be which ones. Unless we all do the same exact ones to test.

The web page I linked will crash eventually. Just scroll and double tap and it will happen, at least on my Air.

Yuk. Turning on some of the accesabilty options makes the iPhone look dirty and scruffy. Really apple. Was there no one not even one who said this looks **** do better?

No crash so far. Refresh will happen in between of course. I have huge pages full of images (ahem) in those 16 tabs. Takes me a couple of minutes to scroll to the end for these pages.

When I connected my phone via USB to iTunes, it asked that I need to 'Trust this computer', even though I've been using this desktop to sync ever since I've owned my iPhone.

Anyone else being asked to re-trust their computer?

To leave the zooming icons on or off, that is the question.

What's everybody else doing? They didn't bother me before but they're going so damn fast now!
