No drama here, it took 58 minutes from pushing the download button to home screen on my 5. Not bad considering it reported a 4 hour download time requirement for the first 20 min or so.

Flick to close to straight from Palm.

That was my favorite feature on the palm handsets..

A new version of iTunes 11.1 is available. Would you like to download it now?

Click download.

COMPUTER DOES NOTHING.

GS5 here I come. Sick of dealing with stupid **** everytime!

Good; you are EXACTLY the kind of person who gives Apple a bad name.

Retarded.

Weird. On my iPhone 5 Software Update says I'm up to date IOS 6.1.4. It's 11 AM West coast time. :(

ANY HELP PLS?!

Im from UK, and i just checked itunes, but nothing comes up, it says you already have the latest version, im on ios7 beta 6, whats wrong?

All these failed attempts and no closer to getting there yet..

How could they not see this coming?

EPIC FAIL!

Yeah! How could they not have seen this many people constantly checking Mac Rumors for when it gets released rather than doing their jobs while on the clock?

WOOHOO got it up and running :) the icons look bigger for some reason on my 5 than they did on my 4 when i played around with the beta.

LOL, some of you guys either have a slow connection or a throttling network. I just clicked the software update and mine came in at under 6 minutes. It's installing the update now. I don't think it's Apple's servers that are the problem...:D
I could download the update in 90 seconds if my connection was the limiting factor. But obviously, it is not.

Backup your phone using iTunes (to your computer not iCloud). Unplug your device and turn it off. Hold down home button and plug it back in (this puts it in restore mode). Click restore and accept all the stuff. Voilà! :)
