iOS7 worth the wait!

and my battery after 2 hours is at 95% so all is good for me.

How do you close active apps?

Looks like I got a little learning curve!

The overall slower experience doesn't merit a good job, but I like the design enough where I can put up with it until an update comes out.

Keep trying I had to try 6 or 7 times on both iPhone 5 and iPad mini but both are installing now..on to next stage of errors....

Downloaded the update on both my iPhone and iPad, but it won't get passed the verifying update step.

Guess their servers are getting pounded.

The "delay" the animations bring to everything is irritating, it makes me miss the "snappiness" of IOS 6. Not really feeling the new Calendars app.

For some reason the little tools menu at the bottom of the lock screen that you swipe up to get to is irritatingly difficult to access. Sometimes it takes me 5 to 6 swipes before it comes up. The top notifications is a little bad too but no where near the bottom.

Also I can't get the panoramic effect on my panorama wallpapers neither when I set them from the photo app or from settings. Anyone know how to fix this ???

What is it with people projecting their opinions and hypothetical business decisions onto a dead guy who was [safe to say, nothing personally intended] far smarter and more talented in these areas than they are?

It's that some of these "people" have been using, and following design trends (especially from Apple) since Apple went public, some even before that time. Specifically, following Jobs, and learning in the process of what to do, and what NOT to do,and t is clear that the design (look/feel) of iOS 7 is **** at best.

How do you get the weather to show up in the dropdown menu?? I don't even have the option for it.

Where are the display settings now? Like how long I want before the phone turns the screen off by itself?

Also, the two things I am not a fan of so far:

1) When you have music playing, and it automatically shows the music playing with a huge pause button/slider. I feel that it will make it prone much more to accidental hits.

2) Instead of sliding a bar, you can slide anywhere and unlock the phone... I liked having a small space to slide, so you don't accidentally unlock the phone...

Longest installation ever on my ipad 2... dont know if its from the ios 7 or the hardware limits of my ipad are being shown. But finally its done!!

In my opinion this new iOS is ugly. Wow, I'm kind of flabbergasted that this is Jonathan Ives's work. After the update my iPad Mini looks cheaper and the screen seems poorly composed. I actually miss all the skeuomorphism of the old os. Really there were just a few apps that were hideous before, imo. Game Center and Notes were the worst. Calendar was pretty ugly, and Contacts was passable. All the rest was extremely well done. But now they all seem too stark and very cheap. All the non-Apple app icons stick out like sore thumbs, and you REALLY have to be ok with a whole lot of white to get into this new iOS. As for me I'm sorry I updated. The bubbles are tacky as hell. Apple has taken so many steps backwards with this update.

Well let's be honest about it dude, YOU KNEW what iOS7 looked like before you installed it. Come on.

swipe back

Anyone know where the swipe back gesture is? I can´t get it to work. Running IOS 7 on iPhone 4S.

And yes the iPhone 4S is a tad slower on this new OS...

On my galaxy thats how you unlock the phone.. and it has never unlocked by itself.

My Touch downloaded for about an hour then said update unavailable. Now it shows an Update Now option, after you press it it goes thru a verification process and says update not available, but now there is no option to redownload it. What a mess this update is. I'm going to try to update it thru ITunes when I get home

I got iOS7 available just before 10 PST and finished install around 11 PST.

Looks cool, but it's not that revolutionary. I'm getting tired of iPhones. I have an iPhone 4S and I'll probably look into getting the upcoming Nexus 5 phone.

The good news is that I can uninstall the free flashlight app since it's now in the Control Center.

I sure would like to know the point of your post.

I agree, this is awesome. iTunes Radio is already better than Pandora or even Slacker IMO. I created a station and it's already playing a much wider array of bands then Pandora or Slacker ever did. This might even replace my Sirius radio in my car. Love the new animations and photo album. Only small gripe is when in a folder, I wish hitting the back button took you to the home screen instead of back to the folder, but I'll live.
