And that is your opinion. Some of us are happy with it, but I took the time to read about the new features and how to use them unlike a majority of the whiny posts on this thread.

Of course it's my opinion, if it weren't I wouldn't have written it. I'm glad you're happy, but many of us are not. So pushing back on those of us who are criticizing the new design is not really productive.

I tried iRadio on my iPhone 5. It started then stopped with an error message. Now iRadio isn't showing up in the music app anymore. Anyone know if they pulled it?

Same here. Although my wife's took a little less time and she even called the dentist. The download takes a long time, but that's probably okay. It's the actual install where your phone is OOS that needs to be quick (It gets a C from me, took about 7 minutes).

My dentist's on Android, so that wouldn't have helped me.

Had problem upgrading on iphone 4

Always get error saying no permission.

On iphone 4 click on Software Update under General and it says:

iOS 6.1.3
Your software is up to date.

Update completed on my iP5 but my iPad mini, that's the message I get now, after multiple, numerous failed attempts at an OTA update. Via iTunes now I've got 2 downloads going simultaneously going, one is 40 hours, one is 50 hours, as for a direct download from 2 different sites I'll have to wait 2 days 8 hours or 2 days 3 hours for either of those to finish. FFS!

Nope. Working great here...try killing the Music app and reopening.

Longtime Apple user here... this update is killing me! This UI is a travesty. If ever there was an indication that Tim Cook doesn't look at anything his team does, this is it. Jonny Ive did his thing and nobody told him it looked ugly and violated almost every tenet of good UI design. It's crowded, garish, and unusable.

Buttons are now just text with no indication of what you are supposed to touch... folders are almost invisible... animation jerks and stutters... phone dial screen is all white... everything feels more crowded, especially when using Messages... icons look like they were created to appeal to 8-year olds... Calendar is a huge mess - no idea where to look or what to touch.

So this is what Tim Cook has been working on for two years?

Folders are almost invisible? I think they need to be more translucent

Wow, you people are missing the point. It's a juvenile feminine design that most men are going to be turned off by. And I didn't even like it when the iphone went to 4". Too big.

No. Not all of us are touchy homophobes.
I love it....!!!! Been using since the first beta on iPad 3rd gen, iPad mini, & iPhone 5. Seriously adore the experience. Icons are probably the least important thing to me.... I actually use my Apple products, don't just sit there mouth agape, staring at home screen. At any rate- control center & swiping to go back/fwd in settings, mail, safari, texting, etc. are my two "could never go back" features.

It's going to be ok

I'm a developer and been on iOS 7 since beta 3. It does take some getting used to, but I am a big fan. I wonder how I made due without some of the features - very usable and important update.

I didn't update my iPad 3 until this afternoon and the Apple servers are being hit hard. Did finally get it to update after experiencing many of the same issues that you all have experienced. I do find iOS 7 to be a bit less smooth on my iPad3, but it's better after a soft reset and some use.

The newer the hardware, the better the interface works - that makes sense. I have found battery life on my iPhone 5 is actually quite a bit better after I installed the GM last week.

Everyone just breathe - you're going to love it!

:D

Yeah, me too. In addition to the weather I don't see the time anywhere in notification screen either.

What am I missing?

Have you actually added the your-location weather in the weather app? My notification screen showed nothing until I added my location in the weather app and now I see the weather in notification and I just tap on it to go to the weather app
