So it was telling me 3 minutes remaining as soon as it started. It's going super fast, can't believe it, but then half way through it said preparing update and then an error message. Starting over.

I'm running Bata iOS 7 and it's not dropping the OTA update and iTunes 11.1 doesn't find it either. I looking for a direct link to download the file so install it from recovery mode.

Anyone know where I can find this??

False, it's out for everyone. They are just getting a chached response, or Apple's servers are too busy.

Which was ridiculous thing to do.

Should have spread it out by time zone to ease the burden on the servers which obviously are being hammered...hence the constant crashing.

Seems that space left on the device and (mostly) network/server connections are being the cause of most of the errors... unless you really got no battery left!
