Really disappointed in Apple. Just updated iPhone 6. No Touch ID or cell service now. So now I have a phone that doesn't work as a phone. A security feature that doesn't actually work.

Ever since Cook let Ive take over iOS development, quality control has gone completely to hell. Anyone remember 7.0.x on the iPad? What a total disaster! I still can't believe Apple let that software out the door.

MacRumors needs to post an article on how to downgrade back to iOS 8 for these poor people who have no idea how to do it, and might need to be using their phones for emergency and/or business calls.

Tried taking out my SIM card and resetting network settings but still says No Service

This "cellular mistake" has unearthed a strange thing.

You can't add a Touch ID fingerprint unless you have cellular. Why is that ?

Does your fingerprint depend on cellular ?

Think about this kids.

I think they are indirectly related. Sounds like a baseband issue that just didn't take. Touchid probably isn't being read at all by the system
