AT&T and mine seems to be fine on iPhone 5

It only seems to affect the iPhone 6 and 6+'s.

This "cellular mistake" has unearthed a strange thing.

You can't add a Touch ID fingerprint unless you have cellular. Why is that ?

Does your fingerprint depend on cellular ?

Think about this kids.

It's call a bug, or a bad build.

Resetting Network didn't help me.

I'm gonna redownload the iOS 8.0 ipsw file, go into DFU mode and restore to the downloaded ipsw file.

Looks like maybe they did, I was getting "unable to check" and still cannot get the update OTA. SO GLAD i couldn't update new iP6 now. I am confused though that supposedly 8.0.1 was sent to the carriers before 8.0 was even released. So how can so many different carriers have no service issue now? Wondering if its Apple activation servers causing the problem? Makes no since

Gee, good thing I don't use my phone for business. Oh wait, I do. Thank's a lot Apple. Between the issues I'm having with Find My Friends right now, as well as this, I'm so close to just being done with Apple. Android keeps looking better and better. Cannot believe this.

You know why android looks "better and better"? Because you wait 6+ months after a release before you can upgrade your phone to the latest and greatest. So instead of downloading updates from apple the day they come out, try waiting a few months. Then you can have the "android experience" with an iphone!
