Download the IPSW file from Apple for 8.0.1 and just do an update by holding "Option" and clicking "Software Update" in iTunes.

You can do this even if you already installed the bad Over-The-Air-Update for your phone.

No need to do a complete restore.

Just restored via iTunes and got my AT&T connection back since I had a backup from early this AM.

Haven't setup Touch ID yet, but seems the update may only be OTA?

8.0.1 (12A402) iPhone 6 Plus

It seems like it's broken for all who updated who have iphone 6. Check my post history if you want, I'm not here to drive up the post count. Just happy that I have my 5S as backup

Good to know, I'll be updating tonight when I get home :)

Worked fine on my iPhone 6 plus OTA. And my brother in laws.

Update is still live. Updating my 5s,5c, iPad Air, retina mini and mini.

Upon iTunes restore, I was told that there were "New carrier settings available for download" ... not sure if that was the underlying culprit ... maybe didn't come through via OTA?

ugh! updated before i saw this article.

Touch ID not working, no cell service... wtf! iPhone 6 AT&T here

I love Apple but how does an error like this get released?

No trolling here.. My iPhone 6 lost cel. service, and I didn't even bother checking Touch ID.

Only logged on here after issue occurred. Wish I would've read this sooner.

Fix better come tonight..

Can this done on a computer that your iPhone doesn't sync with?
