Actually yes, but on iPad 3. They disabled animation when you type something in the address field.

I updated my iphone 6 128 AT&T, OTA with no issues. Cell and Touch ID works with no issues.

Here is my test:

iPhone 6 with iOS 8.0.1 : No signal, no touch ID
iPhone 5 with iOS 8.0.1 : Works fine with the iPhone 6's SIM card.

Oh. This is a "iPhone 6/6plus + iOS 8.0.1" issue.

The quickest way I fixed this was to roll back to iOS 8.0. Go here: http://www.iphonehacks.com/download-iphone-ios-firmware and get the download which is directly from Apple's download server.

Then follow these instructions even though they are for downgrade of 7.0...its still the same process

5S AT&T here. I just updated and no issues.. it is sounding like it is affecting 6 and 6+ US-based carriers (as some international 6/6+ users seem to be fine).

i bit the bullet and decided to upgrade anyways. i had No Service for about 3 minutes until i toggled airplane mode and cellular data and i got signal now. AT&T iPhone 5s.
