Updated iPhone 5S OTA from 8.0 with no problems.

Updating iPad Mini Retina LTE OTA caused it to go into recovery mode.

Used reboot to take it out and now I am sitting on the Apple Logo and then a blue flash and reboots to Apple Logo again. I will probably have to do a full restore because it keeps rebooting. Latest backup file is July... so won't have to do too much. Oh well!

Anyone else have issue?

Mine was funky after the update, but it was funky after the 8.0 update as well. Immediately after it just turned off and didn't act like it was on. A press of the home button or the power button wouldn't do anything. So, I tried a slightly longer press of the power button, tapped it a few times and the lock screen comes up and won't respond to touch, tapped the power button again, waited a bit and it turned off, then turn on and off, flashing the lock screen and then finally stayed on and responded to touch...really weird, but it appears to be fine now.

Not showing up for sprint iphone4s. Is this only released for 6 ? Or has it been pulled again because I see a number of bending issues? I want the bending feature for my 4S!

My Sprint 4S is updating as we speak. You may want to do a hard reboot on the phone to get it to show up.

Just updated iPad rMini and 4S and both are working great. 4S multi task is way more responsive. Swipekey seems a little more snappy switching between keyboards.

I'm 5'11 and only 155lbs & my iPhone 6 plus bent in my jeans front pocket (not skinny jeans) just walking around the mall...

Also, I go to the gym..

Yup, spontaneous bending from hardly any touching, sounds perfectly plausible given the laws of physics in this universe...

6+ is doing just fine after the update. I wish we could find out what this whole of this small update (apart from fixing 8.0.1). What was that major addition in 8.0.1 ? :S

has anyone seen any improvement with wifi after this update on iPhone 6 or iPhone 6+?? It wasn't listed in the apple report but i was hoping we would see a fix. Thats really my only issue right now with my iPhone 6+, have gone through a ton of data the last 2-3 days

It's only been out 45 minutes! Give people a chance, or try it yourself!

Just updated my Iphone6 it is now an ipod

Just updated my Iphone6 to 8.0.2.

It is now searching for the Telstra network, WIFI works but it will not connect to the Telstra network.

Also the Touch ID does not work.

I have reset the network setting, done a hard reset.

Not happy Apple!

Apple PR could do better that 40000 users

40000 sounds a big number.

Least PR team could do it is divide by 10+ million and say less than ~.5% users were affected. Makes it little less scary..

Either ways for the sake of humanity and you guys testing the new update!!

It doesn't take much to bend the 6 plus. I was at the apple store today and all of the display models are already bent from people playing with them. The 6 plus bending is a very big issue.

So the cloth of your jeans and the light brushing of the phone against your leg as you walked is what bent your phone? Just clarifying.
