So far so good (on iPod Touch 5g):

Just updated iPad rMini and 4S and both are working great. 4S multi task is way more responsive. Swipekey seems a little more snappy switching between keyboards.

Yup, spontaneous bending from hardly any touching, sounds perfectly plausible given the laws of physics in this universe...

Ok I admit it..... I did send a few texts and answered a phone call or 2 while I was at the mall... You caught me......... Then it was placed back "safely" in my pockets

8.0.2 bug fix - sturdier exterior of the device.

I used a similar statement about the .1 release and it wasn't looked upon very highly. Apple users tend to be more sophisticated and not very receptive to lower level humor. I think it's still hilarious.

Bout to install right now. Any sharks in the water?

Ugh... I'm flying out of state tomorrow but I'm a bit hesitant to get this update. Can't have my phone going crazy on me on my trip.

:apple:

Multitasking tremendously improved on iPod Touch 5. I can now keep 4 open without others shutting down and switching between them almost instantaneous now, very laggy before. Now to let it sit for a few hours to let it finish whatever it might need to do in the background and now off to update the iPhones

Just updated my Iphone6 to 8.0.2.

It is now searching for the Telstra network, WIFI works but it will not connect to the Telstra network.

Also the Touch ID does not work.

I have reset the network setting, done a hard reset.

Not happy Apple!

Seriously? Grr, thanks for letting us know. Better not update mine then...

My Goodness! What has the world come to?

People are touching an Apple update like touching some dynamite!

That being said.. can I update my iPad and iPhone now? :p

Though I was one of the ones who downloaded it to my iPhone before it was pulled, I don't have any issues with my 5s, which was later reported to not be affected.

I think I'll wait a bit before I go for 8.0.2 and see how it goes. :p

Honestly, with it working for you I'd not upgrade either, ever! Have the rarest Apple firmware in the world on your iPhone. Cool.

Working absolutely fine on iPhone 6 plus ... Here's the screenshot
