Yeah none of my people's iMessage is working either. Just called Apple support... Of course they are "unaware" of any issue. WOW... They are really screwing up lately.
I got my Air replaced at the Genius Bar due to 8.1 being a pile of dog **** on the iPad Air.
Transitions are not as smooth, the lag in Safari when you tap the address bar and the full address slide left and is revealed is horrible.
WiFi is slow as hell. I notice dropped frames in iOS immediately. They leap out at me.

Even before downloading iOS 8.1.1, iMessage doesn't work.

ios 8 + iphone 6 specific issue, seems like a good way to ask HERE, please answer.
1) does dragging up from spotlight (without typing in anything) back to homescreen lags for you as well? this leads to pains in my head
2) when sending iMessages via mac it doesn't always sync my sent messages with my iphone.
any help/advices?

Has any one installed on 3rd generation iPad yet? If so how's it doing? Hopefully a **** ton faster
Yes, that's weird since Twitter has been exploding for hours about it. I can (more seriously this time) confirm that iMessage isn't working on my iOS 8.1.1 either. Since Twitter has been furious a while, I think it's in this update's favor though. I guess we'll just wait and see, and maybe even Apple will wake from their slumber.
You have iOS 10.10.01 already? You have a time machine or something?

updated my 6 plus... seems like A LOT of the lagginess, stuttering i was experiencing is now gone... for now.
iMessage wasn't working for like a minute or two after the update... works fine now.
I noticed that it seemed to take 5-10 seconds to populate a list of wireless networks, also took a little bit to conenct to them... seems like that has also been fixed for me too!
Not a bad little udpate.
other than that... don't seems to be having any new issues.

The reality is best to do it now then you have a day or so to revert back if its bad. I seriously doubt it will be worst but.............
That must have been in anticipation of all the handoff and stuff that like that was coming. NOW that all of that stuff is here they turn it off.
What about the weather app? Does it still lag when you go between list view and detailed view?
Since there are OSX, iOS and AppleTV updates today they have to install new software too.
