Well this is odd, I updated to 8.1.1 and now my credit card is no longer showing in Passbook or associated with :apple: Pay.

The keyboard shortcut synching issue seems partly fixed.

New shortcuts sync between iOS devices but only sync FROM Yosemite to iOS and not the other way round.

Editing a shortcut name on one device seems to cause a duplicate name on another device.

Great testing Apple.

Maybe when the iPad pro is released before September 2015. Apple has a weird schedule this year with updates compared to the last years (8.1, 8.2, 8.3).

They aren't going to release something that big without giving developers the heads up ahead of time. If a iPad Pro is released it will first not include such a feature and then at WWDC we'll see the iOS 9 announcement where they'll add the function and give developers time to work with it before releasing.

At the time of this post, they are not showing any outages in any of their online services.

So, it is either related to the activation of iMessage in 8.1.1 or is specific to your device.

they never report outages, even when there are down. That site is a joke, only inspired to anger those who know it is not even monitored by apple.

iPad 3 performance is better. Of course it's just a small sample size, but so far it's good.

My GF had to setup her 6+ again, the device asked for WiFi and iCloud credentials and she had to verify messages and and FaceTime. On my iPad 3th gen no such problem but also no performance improvements despite the hardware being similar to the iPad 2. Waiting for my 5s now.

I just jailbroke this morning. Breathing a sigh of relief....

Does the Pangu Jailbreak prevent OTA updates like earlier Jailbreaks did? Or has one of the No-OTA tweaks in Cydia been updated for iOS 8. I realize it won't update unless I tell it to, but I find the extra level of protection reassuring. Also I don't like seeing the red badge on my settings app!

That's odd. I didn't have to do anything to mine after the update.

I Beleive theres a cydia teak to remove that badge... And updating while jailbroken will require a full restore of your iphone...

Honestly buddy it’s not. Fire does everything ATV does and 5 times faster + it has an app store. I’m yet to find anything ATV does that Fire TV can't.

Can you use Airplay to send video and music to the Fire TV from your iOS devices?

Safari keyboard shortcuts fixed!

All I want is the Safari keyboard freezing bug fixed.

If you are referring to the lockup when a shortcut is used (ie. email address) in Safari, that seems to be resolved now! I have several in there and 100% of the time if I was in Safari in a field typing and started entering any shortcuts, Safari would lockup and the last letter would be as if the key was pressed (large). So far not longer happening

And you’re talking to an “Apple” person here not an Apple troll.

Except stream/mirror from iPhone/iPad/Mac. I rely on that daily.
