It didn't start to happen to me on my 4s until I updated to iOS 8. biggest regret for me. But I'm okay with it for now, as I'll be getting a 6 soon.
BL.
As long as it takes? Would it be better to have less updates so that those problems aren't addressed? How many updates do we have to do before Apple get's it right with iOS8!? This is the most updates we've had to do in a short period of time and it probably still won't be right..
Still no fix for Health App? WTF are they doing? One of the premier new features of iOS 8 just doesn't work!
I have my phone permanently set to vibrate. I hate those that refuse to do the same -- making clicky sounds when texting, dinging for each recieved text or email, and worst of all is blaring some rediculous ringtone at the worst possible time.
Really they should have broken it more not fixed it.![]()
Anyone who pays for a ringtone needs to take a long, hard, look at themselves.

As for the most updates, I'm not sure if that's the case really. Previous iOS versions didn't go to x.1 until later on and had more x.0.x updates, so it's hard to say this is really much off from that. iOS 7 didn't really become stable for many until 7.1 at the earliest, and that was a good half a year since 7.0 was released.

I'm with the cold war era guy.![]()
i'll wait a few weeks before updating. knowing the recent trend of apple updates...![]()
Yeah I mean who would ever want a PHONE that actually rang when it was called. What were they thinking?!?!![]()
Seems like a really weird things to warrant an immediate update being sent out to everyone. I'd fix the bug in the update that's being worked on and just let the one customer who noticed it know that it's been fixed and the update will be out in a month, and that in the meantime they can use any of the dozens of standard ringtones.
I'd probably also give them a $5 iTunes credit to their account.
Sad on your part I agree
Single? Apple's info text has the plural "bug fixes."
The point is that iOS8 is the worst iOS up to date.. that is quite obvious to everyone except the people who work for Apple or created it.
The implication there is that the notes say it's more than a single fix (as opposed to the claim that this was a release for a single fix).Support documents aren't up yet for me so I have no way of knowing what other "bug fixes" occurred? Care to ellaborate since you seem to know
who purchases ringtones?

I purchased a ringtone for the first time ever a couple weeks ago .. it never downloaded, this now explains why..
I submitted ticket to Apple to get my money back (never heard anything from them - haven't checked my account to see if they restored the funds)
But, installed the update; went to restore-tones and my missing ringtone is now on my phone![]()
