Ios in its current state right now is much more stable and alot less buggy then Android Lollipop right now, so i dont know what your talking about and i dont think you do either

the vocal minority always assume their experience is the norm. every software/hardware update or release means that - to someone, somewhere - apple's failure to deliver 100% perfection to 100% of everyone (aka: themselves), means 'apple is dropping the ball and their standards are slipping.'

rinse and repeat.

I want better battery life! And to fix the screen locking issue.

And for the love of God why can't we download OTA updates over 4G/LTE yet if they are under 100MB???

I have a 30GB plan and can't use it all because of this.

Still doesn't fix multitasking gestures randomly stop working on iPad Air and Air 2.

Hope it fixes all the annoying bugs with the 3rd party keyboards as well as the Spotlight issue where no keyboard is showing up.

But as I'm on 8.2, I wonder if these bug fixes were included in 8.2 beta or are coming in a future update.

This is the most annoying thing ever!

Blame the carriers for that!

Knowing all to well, the trend of troubles associated with recent OTA apple updates...I'll stand by for a week or so

So in summary, iOS 8.2.1 is what we are really waiting for. Got it!

iOS 8.2 will introduce "major new features", but also a handful of new bugs.

iOS 8.2.1 will have those bugs cleaned up.

first time my phone didn't prompt me that it will restart automatically, I had to manually install the update after it finished downloading.

Broke the connection with my Garmin Vivosmart and didn't fix my calendar timezone issue. When will I learn. Thanks Apple :apple:

Has this fixed the safari problem where it always refreshes tabs or pressing back button on a website? I won't update until that's fixed.

That's a low memory error. The only thing to fix it is add more RAM or Apple modifies memory usage algorithms. That would be a major change and wouldn't be in iOS 8. Maybe 9 or later. This is just my opinion.

Well then what's the point of even having Macrumors at all if we're not going to believe anything on it?

Why are you here? To read things just so you can not believe them?

That's not what I meant to say. I just said to don't believe everything you hear/read because they could say they fixed the ringtone issue and added bug fixes so people thought they really did something else, so to justify this release since realeasing this update just for one fix would be ridiculous. Just that.
