Really? When I press the delete button nothing happens on mine. It worked with 8.0 but got introduced along the lines of 8.1.
Any suggestions what could possible cause this since yours tab closing works?

Well mine did not work prior to the update, so the update fixed it for me.

Apparently Apple is not aware of any 3rd party keyboard issues. I submitted a ticket and they said they needed more informatons and logs as this problem is not commonly seen. I recommend you all to report the keyboard issues so Apple can identify a consistent problem.

This is the point. People are content to come here and moan, but most do not actually report it to Apple. Apple don't monitor this forum (well not officially), so how can they fix something if no-one tells them. This forum cracks me up with this fact.

No more jailbreak. Apple fixed the vulnerabilities in iOS 8.1.3. This sucks, i really needed the jailbreak to disable VOIP in Facebook.

Out of curiosity, what do you need to disable VOIP in FB?

Just updated my 5S and it blew up 3 times before finally completing. I had 8.5GB of free space. Each time it blew up and I started the update again it would get a little further into the update before it blew up. Had me worried for a minute as this is the first time ever experiencing an issue when doing an update. After the update I now have 8.68GB of free space.

Edit: I updated my iPad Air 2. went without a hitch.

Just a quick notice, that extensive battery drain problem from earlier versions of iOS 8 was not fixed. Will wait for a day to confirm, but it seems that nothing changes, still sucks.

Apple, shame on you, the biggest issues are not addressed.

Which extensive drain would that be? From what specific earlier versions of iOS?

Oh, well it's come to light within the last four days.

Ya know I am not even sure its a bug. I use gmail for one acct and use that calendar and it does show both my time zone and GMT but only if you open the event up like to edit. In the split view where events show at the bottom, they display only the regular time. Also in list view only see regular time. I only see GMT if I open the event to edit. Wondering if that is really by design for some reason. So you have both in case you need it .

Come on...do it! Live on the edge! :)

Done. LOL I never waited until 8.0.1 and I could never connect to the busy server. Then an hour later it was pulled due to killing touch ID and cell service. I was happy that I never could contact the update server to update. That and reports that 8.1.2 potentially caused less battery than 8.1.1. Since then been gun shy. Also 8.1.1 was running super on my iP6. I typically like to do it as soon as it drops so still have option to roll back for a few days. This time I was hesitant because cant go back to 8.1.1. Anyway took the plunge! Now glad to be caught up again! So living on the bleeding edge again.

As usual I'll stay on 8.1.1 and wait for a few days for the update issues to arise before committing to 8.1.3 ;)

Hopefully I'm wrong!

There will always be bugs. You might as well never upgrade. It's not like 8.1.1 is bug-free.

Umm. Didn't you just tell me to "go for it and live on the edge"? See why I was on the fence now? :D Glad you got it worked out. So far no issues here and the install went without a hitch.

There was widespread reporting that iOS 8.1.2 caused significantly decreased battery life. I held off for awhile and stopped hearing complaints so I downloaded it a week ago and I noticed the same issue. My battery life was about 3 hours shorter than before I upgraded and it was that way every day. I'm hopeful this update fixes whatever caused the decrease.

8.1.3 still does NOT Fix the no sound / staticky sound issue with my iPad 4. Had it since ios 7... only fixable by a reboot.

That's a strange issue. I wonder if it's hardware related and a reboot somehow triggers the hardware back to normal until usage messes it up again. Have you ever had it checked at an Apple Store?

Is the Wifi bug fixed? My boyfriend's network speed (Airport Express, newest one) tanks every time my 6 Plus joins his network. The second I hop off, speeds are back to normal for all devices on his network.

Apple Releases iOS 8.1.3 With Bug Fixes, Storage Size Reduction

Surprised there's no battery life threads yet...

Does this update come with more U2 songs for free?

I say with confidence it does not come with more U2 songs. lol
This U2 stuff is the new "safari is snappier"

I hope so too. I was on 8.1.1 and it was stellar. Never any battery issues with 8, 8.0.2, 8.1 or 8.1.1.

How's wifi performance? I only ever have issues on my BF's network, and I won't be over there until Saturday.

Does 8.1.3 fix the poor wifi performance on the 6 and 6 Plus?

Just updated through iTunes for my iPhone 5....took about 10 mins tops and I had 2 gig of free space...everything seems to be fine. So what are the changes I should be noticing, everything looks the same.

Hows the wifi on the iPad 2? My parent's FaceTime has been unusably laggy since iOS 8, really hope it's fixed.

Awesome !... an update.....

Glad to see, or rather, hope to see, (since haven't downloaded yet..... *pause* ummm i'm doing this all wrong), the space has gone from half the capacity ate up to allot smaller footprint.

I guess the GMT issue is still a problem... Not the one here, but when u activate over cellular... switch off, then back on.... the Time Zone is forever spinning like a merry-go-round. Yet its fine when updating via cable.

"Apple has also released a 7.0.3 software update for the third-generation Apple TV."

I hope W-fi has been fixed.

Still on 8.1 (iPhone 6 Plus) and get UNBELIEVABLE battery life.

Not having any problems anywhere, so No way do I upgrade to anything!
