This one actually was quite good

Update 10:38 AM: iOS 8.1.3 does not fix the recently publicized "GMT bug," which causes calendar syncing issues and time zone confusion for some affected iOS users.
Yes, because Apple just recently found out about it! It was last Friday, so it's been four days. It was too late to add it as they'd need to carry out their testing procedures again. It'll be fixed in the next update.
Has anyone with an iPad mini 2 updated yet?
Any impressions?
Things I would like to see resolved would be:
Multitouch gestures not working many times.
Well......not exactly. More like 4 months not 4 days. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6548616
How's our mail echo sound doing?
How's the rotation bug that users have had (me too) since purchasing the 6?
Is it permanently fixed yet?
I.E. screen won't rotate to landscape when opening Maps, or Messages, or Mail.
thx.
it also seems that continuity and airdrop are finally working as advertised. They are both super fast to respond here now.
As with every update, you need a couple of battery cycles for the usage to stabilize....so patience please.
What about media files from my messages app disapearing? Years of photos, that were stored in the conversation are gone, simply replaced by giant question marks.
Apples QC has seriously gone down hill. Long live 10.6.8, and iOS6
Yeah airdrop has been a headache. They haven't fixed the closing Icloud tabs bug. Sort of part of continuity and that is an obvious bug I would have thought was at the top of the to fix list.
Updating now, but hoping to see these fixes:
- VIP email notifications bug (getting notifications for emails not from those in my VIP list)
- WiFi (when I join my partner's network, all devices slow to a crawl. When I hop off, it goes back to normal.)
- Overall more stability.
This fixed my Apple TV streaming issues! Finally!
Gonna test some more later.
Over 200MB, for a x.x.1 update this better fix a lot of crap.
Just a quick notice, that extensive battery drain problem from earlier versions of iOS 8 was not fixed. Will wait for a day to confirm, but it seems that nothing changes, still sucks.
Apple, shame on you, the biggest issues are not addressed.
I had that issue once. Drove me nuts. Finally I restored to factory settings and reloaded all my apps one by one and it fixed the problem. It might not be an OS problem but data corruption which OS updates won't fix. If all else fails, try that.

Really want to install but I swear 8.1.1 is working great and battery is awesome and since I cannot go back I am soooooo hesitant.
iCloud closing tabs work on mine.![]()
3rd party keyboard improvements or GTFO.
With rotation lock off
Go from portrait to landscape to portrait.
Crashes safari, tweetbot and likely more.
Apparently Apple is not aware of any 3rd party keyboard issues. I submitted a ticket and they said they needed more informatons and logs as this problem is not commonly seen. I recommend you all to report the keyboard issues so Apple can identify a consistent problem.
