Did 8.3 fix the issues people were having with Safari constantly crashing and not loading websites? I have the issue on both my iPhone and iPad running 8.2. Although, the iPhone has the problem slightly less often than the iPad.

Just installed 8.3 on my iPhone 6 Plus.

I opened 7 tabs in Safari, with the first one being Facebook. Each tab had a different website, with an average amount of data. I went to each tab, one by one, scrolled a bit in each, then went back to Facebook. The Facebook newsfeed did not lose its place. So that is actually pretty good - normally by the time I had 3 tabs my FB newsfeed would refresh.

I checked iMonitor and the usage is 88% with those 7 tabs in Safari. Normally you would see it go to 97% by this point.

Opened a few more tabs and Facebook refreshed finally.

A hard reset didn't work for me immediately, but the issue appears to have resolved itself after a few tries and some patience. Did not have to remove the public beta profile.

Awesome, worked for me too!

Easily the best iOS 8 version yet. Now we only need a jailbreak. :D

If a JB is found for this version, then I'll finally update my iPhone 6 from 8.1. I think that will be a big enough jump to warrant going through the process.

I'm amused that you checked while in a Facetime call with someone, then posted here. :)

I had the exact same thought. Got a good laugh when I saw that.

FINALLY my stupid iPhone 6 Plus, when pulled out of my pocket, no longer has the upside down home screen. In fact, it's not possible now to even view the Home screen upside down. ABOUT TIME! I whined and moaned about this from day 1, so it only took about a half a year to resolve. :D

how many times must they re-bold the keyboard? Didn't they do the same from 7.0 to 7.1?

Lame "innovation"

I hope 8.3 both gets JB soon and is a huge bug fix release.

This should have been iOS 8.0 at the time of launch in September 2014.

But delayed because more resources were diverted on useless apps like the watch app and car play which 99% will not use.

just keep thinking that...

99% of users will never use Apple Watch? Ok..

I needed to make space for it before I got the error message. Now I don't. I prefer the second scenario.

They finally got the OS right. Jeez. Took forever. iOS was a bag of hurt and FULL of issues that some you die hards deny. Most of my issues were related to the screen orientations.

I've given up on that...the only thing that'll fix it is the 6S Plus.

I'll settle for third-party keyboards actually being fixed this time. It's in the notes, but we'll see...

First thing I noticed when I accidentally switched to my third party keyboard - MASSIVELY improved speed. Hell, I'm also on a 5s, 6 should be screaming.

That http://gshock.com/watches page doesn't cause Safari to crash/reload continuously anymore on the 6 Plus ;-) It manages to load that entire hellish site. I guess it swaps the background apps out of memory to accommodate it.

Nex avic 8000

Anyone that has a Pioneer head unit capable of CarPlay...please let me know if this works.

Wireless CarPlay is not working for me unless there is some other process I need to take to enable it or Pioneer will need to release a software update.
