Anyone else notice if their WiFi slowed after the update? I was getting around 40 Mbps down on my iPad Air 2, now getting around 20. Was geeting around 25Mbps on my iPhone 6, now getting around 18. I have a 100 Meg connection but I have an older router which is why it's always been that slow, but not this slow as it is now.

If you have touchid enabled for iTunes&App Store you won't see the new Password Settings option rather in small grey text "Touch ID is enabled for all purchases". If you disable touchid you will see the Password Setting option.

Also if restrictions are on, these settings are not directly under iTunes&App, but instead under general/restrictions.

I've had that happen in the past after updates. Usually you have to fully power down the device then power it back up. Should be back at full speed after that.

I religiously do a "Reset Network Settings" after every update, so not sure if it's worth giving that a go?

I was on the public beta and found this update to be really good, mostly fixed a lot of little things. the emoji i don't use very often and never realized that yellow was racist. So now I have a ton more colors that I will also rarely if ever use.

If you are on the EE network in the UK, this update enables the feature that Apple have dubbed "wifi calling". Technically it is voice over wifi using an IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) in the operator's core network. No apps are required for this. You use the handset in exactly the same way as when you are connected to the radio network. This is likely to be a big deal for people who have no coverage at home.

Yep, if you want to use it needs to be enabled. Settings > Phone > Wifi calls and then enable.

A bug that has been around since the days of iOS 7 was finally fixed:

On the iPad, in landscape orientation, swiping forward a page in Safari never worked properly/consistently. Now it does. Better late than never!

Did it fix the 61 to 59, 31 to 29, 28 to 26 and 16 to 14% battery meter problem? Ive seen this since day one on iOS 8 and although it's not a big deal it's just kind of funny if they STILL haven't fixed it yet!

Wow, just in time. I have been thinking of going to therapy because there have been no dark brown emoji's to use, this may have saved my life.............on second thought I have never used emoji's that look like people and could care less.

I've been on the developer path for 8.3 for the past couple of months and I have to say it is a marked improvement over 8.2.

The improvement to battery life alone makes this more than worthy of installing. Apple has done a tremendous job of fixing bugs and improving performance all around the OS.

Hopefully they continue to improve the performance of iOS as we near version 9.

OR people are seeing slightly more free memory because they've just done a very rare reboot of their device :) Though I hope it is actually an efficiency improvement.

Could be the reboot also contributing, but I have never seen this kind of performance after any reboot pre-8.3 on my 6+.

Not sure what is going on but when I connect my iPod to Itunes it says the latest update is 8.2..and when I go on my iPod and go to software updates it just says "Checking for updates" and it spins and spins
