I am still on 8.1.2 but I am updating just in hopes that they fixed the issue with the keyboard not coming up when it should especially in the messages app with 3rd party keyboards

Gotta say my 6+ went from a little laggy to no lag at all on any screens when using it. Liking this update so far.

Really hoping this fixes the issue of the screen not rotating and just sticking in place sometimes.

I just realized that 8.3 backwards is 3.8 which is a completely arbitrary observation that means absolutely nothing at all.

Would any of the 50+ people who upvoted this care to explain why they did so?

It seems like the most random thing to upvote. It's not funny (IMO), it's not useful... so what on earth warranted that it be upvoted by such a huge margin above any other post?

Not seeing "home screen" mentioned... so, I guess no fix for iPhone 6+ Springboard crashing at around 700+ apps, when the iPhone 5 could handle over 1000 flawlessly. Game collectors be warned! You're meant to throw out your progress and install new games, not use your actual storage space to treat games like a "library"... and this unwritten new policy is enforced by catastrophic looping crashes.

700!? And I thought my 50 was a lot!

Has it fixed the iPhone / Safari bug, where the address bar constantly rises too far into the status bar?

Just noticed something. Yesterday I closed all open apps and checking the imonitor widget I was around 85% and it climbed to over 90% of the memory. I did a reboot and it was the same. After the 8.3 update today I killed all apps and it's been around 68-69% and not climbing. I did a reboot and it's the same. Not scientific by any means, but curious.

It seems smoother also.

Can I update directly to 8.3 from 8.1.3? My iPhone 5S was replaced today under warranty, and it came with 8.1.3...

Ok so i have never used Siri other than to test it out but now that it has Swedish i probably gonna use it more.

But i have one problem, i tested out several "classic" test phrases, like "Hur långt är det till månen?", which is basically "How far away is the moon?", in the English Siri it correctly gives me the Wolfram Alpha info for the moon. In the Swedish version though it gives me places, roads and business that has the word "månen" (moon) in it and doesnt display the Wolfram Alpha entry at all.

This is true for alot of stuff in the Swedish version, the english version gives me nice info from Wolfram Alpha and searching the web for stuff but the Swedish version just very rarely gives me the info i wants.

Yes, this is the first iteration of the Swedish version but is there any tricks or tweaks that i can do to let Siri know that i want her/it to prioritize stuff from Wolfram Alpha or websearches? I am rarely interesting in the distance between my current location and local businesses.

Basically in almost any scenario where I need to do some multitasking. Few examples:

Example 1
- I am listening to one song in Spotify
- I'm also browsing the web
- After a minute or two, I notice, no music is playing
- Go back to Spotify: boots from start (e.g. Spotify logo for a few seconds before continuing where I left off).
(and, if I've got some bad luck:) - After selecting a song, go back to Safari... only to find out the webpage refreshes.

This sounds like a low memory condition to me. iOS will shut down apps behind the scenes if memory runs low. I'm not at all saying you're doing anything wrong, but I'll bet that's what's happening.

Apparently iCloud photo library never bothered deleting many photos that I deleted then deleted again from the "Recently Deleted " folder because a bunch of photos just popped up again.....I wonder if this is actually going to work as advertised.

Anyone else seeing old photos pop up that were deleted long ago?

U2 emoji

Someone please confirm that this release contains U2 emoji that are permanently in the frequently-used section.

So, I just updated and found the first bug (at least on my phone...a friend said it doesn't happen on his) but it is a show stopper. When clicking and holding on an app to move/delete, my icons jiggle, but the phone becomes unresponsive. I hard reset it the first time, and the second time I got a re-spring after like 2 minutes...

Edit: Wait, I just realized I had to actually hit the X to delete an app for it to happen

Edit 2: Okay, I fixed it, and now I cant replicate it...but it happened after I was testing out downloading a free app which seemed to stall, causing the above to happen. I paused the download and was able to delete said app and have not had the problem since.
