Upon updating to 8.4.1 my iPhone lost LTE and now is stuck on 4G. And yes I've done all the usual stuff to get it back. Now I'm gonna have to do a clean install. >_>
Short answer noCan't you do the jailbreak once Apple stops signing the iOS version?
I spoke too soon. slow to wake and all the other issues are still present on the iPad Air 2. Damn, Apple. Reminding me of the old MS...Seriously thinking of jumping ship to a Surface/ProSo far, upon initial testing, all the issues with the iPad Air 2 seem to be corrected. In my first 10 minutes of testing, slow to wake from home button, rotation issues, and issues with 5 finger pinch gesture seem to be fixed. I hope this holds.
I just want to be able to quickly to get the the album or artist of the song that is playing. Is that too much to ask?![]()
Grow up! It's hardly that bad. iOS 9 is great if u are so deeply concerned.
There are usually more things in updates, like security fixes and potentially some other bug fixes that might not be called out specifically. So pretty much if you don't use Apple Music you can skip this update. Cool. Don't need to waste my time with an update that doesn't pertain to me.
Unless you got a great deal on the Ipad Air2 - why not wait for the next model in Sept/Oct?Perfect timing. I just bought a brand new iPad Air 2 and needed to restore my old iPad 2
People pay for premium computers of all kinds and still often have operating systems and software that have bugs here or there.I pay a premium with Apple products so I expect top notch quality. If I want crappy bug ridden software to work with, I'd just use the $220 Moto G Android.
Apple Music is great! I like the music discovery and curated playlists as well as Beats One more than I thought I would, and these are ironically features I thought would be Apple exaggerating their usefuleness to make their service seem more unique...I actually like Apple Music. Keep forgetting to cancel Spotify, but haven't used it in about four weeks.
Got the 16 GB base model for $150 off from an online vender. I couldn't refuse.Unless you got a great deal on the Ipad Air2 - why not wait for the next model in Sept/Oct?
Perhaps the somewhat typical higher battery usage or perhaps some stuck process even that happens to different people after some updates at times? Is it just me or is there some battery drain going on?
You can, as long as you have that version installed thst is.Can't you do the jailbreak once Apple stops signing the iOS version?
Well, overall it doesn't necessarily say much one way or another as it's essentially a personal anecdotal observation. That said, hopefully it means that Apple meant what it said about focusing more on stability and performance when it comes to iOS 9.In my personal experience, iOS 9 beta 5 is more stable than the current release of iOS 8. What does that say about 8? Or 9?
