Wait, what is this lag issue? I have an iPad Air 2 and I've never seen any lag when unlocking...?Seems to be fixed.
EDIT: I was wrong, the lag is still there![]()

it's just 55mb, c'mon! So Apple Music/Beats updates are going to always be iOS update level?
ugh. No thanks.
Got the 16 GB base model for $150 off from an online vender. I couldn't refuse.

Easy with the assumptive snide personal comments Mr. Smartguy. I've tried the basics, and it is one of the first batch (I assume so, purchased Sept last year, to answer your question....so it could have some initial batch troubles). It needs a genius bar appointment to rule out some other possible issues. Point being...the issues have been there since day one. And multiple people have reported orientation problems over the course of IOS8. I'm by no means the only one. I normally don't complain either...3 IPhones and pretty much zero trouble until this last one. But 11 months in, they either need to fix it software wise, or if it's an internally known problem caused by something else they need to speak up.
Yeah, no thanks. Going to let Apple Music mature like Apple Maps (which still isn't on par with Google Maps) before leaving Spotify's slick app.
It's so ignorant, that on their flagship tablet product they have this slow wake glitch.
I must have sent a half dozen bug reports on this issue. Instead of worrying about patching a jailbreak, they should fix crap like this bug and others.
I pay a premium with Apple products so I expect top notch quality. If I want crappy bug ridden software to work with, I'd just use the $220 Moto G Android.
I'm still on 8.3 and "Remote" works fine. Is "Remote" still broken a/o 8.4.1?
I installed this on my ipod but the tracks that have been over written by AM are evidently not going to be magically restored.
I am considering doing a reset on my ipod, syncing my tracks and then trying again to see if it will still overwrite local tracks. Hopefully working now.
I must need to test it a bit more.Weird, it's instant wake on mine.
Working fine for me.Hoo-hah.
I await reports of this with trepidation. Until I am sure that iTunes doesn't mess with metadata or music even with Apple Music turned off, but with iTunes Match turned on, I shall stay on 8.3.
If it breaks on my Ipod 4th gen, how long can I roll back to 8.3? Or is this not possible, one wonders.Remote works fine on 8.4 and 8.4.1 here

It has not fixed the Album art issue for me. *Sigh*
Sounds like maybe you want to turn iCloud music library off?
No, but it does come with a free tinfoil hat.Does this update come with the traditional iPhone 6 and below hidden speed downgrade to tempt people into getting the upcoming iPhone 6S?
I'm glad to hear you find Android to be godlike. No one is perfect tho. Stop holding Apple up to some godlike standard....
Just tried 'wake from sleep' on my Air 2 from the home button, also from the magnetic close/open cover on my case and it is instantaneous. I think it can hardly be a bug if it doesn't affect all users.
