Beats app user here and my playlists haven't migrated yet. Anyone having that issue. May have to give it 24hrs
I have yet to get mine over yet, my library is empty although I use iTunes Match. Not sure what's going on.

not sure if anyone has posted this, but if anyone is stuck on update requested delete the iOS beta profile and reboot then the update will work

THANK YOU!!! May the Gods bestow upon you many Apple products.

I chose Clapton...I've heard Jeff Beck, Jonny Winter, Mellencamp, Allman Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks, so far, so good

I don't know if this has already been discussed, but here's the glitch I've found:

1. A For You radio station plays a Zac Brown Band song, "Chicken Fried"
2. I already have that song, rated as a Matched track in My Music.
3. In the past, it would never acknowledge that Matched tracks didn't need to be repurchased. Now it still doesn't distinguish, and offers the "Add to My Music" link. Disappointing, but not too surprising.
4. Adding it to My Music adds a duplicate track in My Music under the correct album. (The track number was one off for some reason.)
5. Selecting "Remove from My Music" on the duplicate track removed BOTH versions of the song, Matched and Apple Music.
6. The Matched version of the song ALSO disappeared from iTunes cloud on my iPad Air 2 (running 9.0b2).

I'm not at home to see what has happened in iTunes. I'll definitely copy the downloaded original track to a safe location before I open iTunes.

Edited to add: It could be because the track numbers didn't match up. The version of the album I had--imported from CD--combined the Violin Intro to Free into the same track as Free, so that the track number for Chicken Fried is off. It doesn't seem to offer "Add to My Music" on some other old Matched tracks from CD.

His endless hyperbole is nauseating. He reminds me of Jimmy Fallon. Every artist is great and every song is the best ever. Everything is incredible.

I think I've heard "Worldwide. Always On" about 100 times now and it hasn't been on an hour yet.

I love Jimmy Fallon, so no worries for me.

This is a huge venture... would be questionable if the dj couldn't scare up some enthusiasm.

Creating a playlist from streamed music looks and feels great - in theory. But in practice, it's buggy as hell. While I am looking at my playlist in the playlist editor, one of the songs suddenly vanishes from the list. I move one song up in the list, press "Done", and it moves back down. I think to get 10 songs in the list, I had to add 15. Weird.
Wow, the more I try it, the more annoying it gets. I just lost another three songs from my playlist of 23 songs. Just like that. Did anyone at Apple actually test the playlist feature in the new Music app? It's quite close to unusuable.

Beats 1 needs a recently played list. Also I'm noticing A LOT of the songs Zane is playing are NOT available on Apple Music. I tap on the 3 dots and all I get is start station or share station. Is it intentional to be playing so much stuff not available for streaming on Apple Music?

Spring City — King
Beck — Dreams
Jamie xx — Gosh
Skepta — Shutdown
ACDC — For Those About to Rock
Hudson Mohawke — Warriors
Pharrell Williams — Freedom
Pharrell Williams — Freedom
Courtney Barnett — Dead Fox
The Chemical Brothers — Under Neon Lights
Shamir — On the Regular
Bully — Trying

Played so far…

Fixed ^^

Well being worldwide in 100 countries live at the same time is a pretty big deal.

Plus it's the first day so he's probably just trying to listeners to take note of just how large scale this whole thing is.
Yes, but just like many other radio stations, you can stream and listen in from anywhere in the world. I don't get all this hype over Beats1. Its been just over an hour and everyone's going crazy, like there aren't hundreds of thousands of radio stations in existence today, a lot of which you can stream and listen in from anywhere in the world, like for instance, through the TuneIn app.

So I'm very confused. I just updated to 8.4, signed up for Apple Music, and all of my locally stored music is gone. I checked in settings, and it says 0 Songs. Did all my music just disappear? I have it all backed up on my Macbook, but still, I didn't realize signing up to Apple Music would completely remove all my locally stored playlists and music. There are a lot of live tracks and such that aren't in Apple Music that I have no access to until I can re-sync to my Macbook.

Crazy confusing interface and service at the moment.

One thing I'm noticing is my music is louder on Spotify than Apple Music. I have to increase the volume on Apple Music to get the same level as Spotify. What does that mean?

Loudness wars

When is iTunes 12.2 coming out? I want to listen to Beats 1 on my PC too...

Zane Lowe generally seems likable, it's just the random interruptions of songs with "BEATS ONE WORLDWIDE ALWAYS ON" which is starting to get really annoying. Reminds me of everything awful about normal radio.

It takes time. The serves are being hit crazy. I was worried just like you. I just now saw all my albums I had in my Beats Music Library populate on iTunes on my Mac just now.

That's what my iTunes library looks like.
