Hope it fixes the battery drain
What battery drain? I have the iPhone 11 Pro and since day one I had ZERO issues with the battery. It is by far the best iPhone I ever had and battery last forever.

MP4 playback still broken. There’s a problem loading this content error. Timing with everybody stuck at home, iTunes content works, and fact Apple is dragging its feet fixing this makes me think this is a shady strategy by Apple to drive revenue. Never had an issue like this before. Affects iOS tv app, infuse, nPlayer.

I still can't sync photos from Catalina 10.15.4 to iOS 13.4 using a lightning cable. Is that feature coming back in iOS 14?

sorry but for me this is totally unacceptable, what is the beta testing for? to indentify this kind of bugs, i understand one bug every once in a while but for me apple lost their focus in quality control, just release what we have the way it is and we fix it later, that is how they doing things now, sorry the way they been doing things for the last few years

13.4 has been horrible for me. My phone overheats all the time now. Never did it before the update. I’m wondering if there are others out there with this same problem

I disabled background app refresh and the drain is no longer an issue.

Really need this battery drain to be fixed, charging my phone 2 or 3 times a day at the moment even on battery save! Luckily I’m at home everyday at the moment 😂

Disable background app refresh and report back your experience with your battery. :)

They’ve been quick to fix the FaceTime bug, good job! I wonder how their QA didn’t catch it...

Can someone confirm if mouse support is fixed or not
after updating to 13.4 my mouse lost some gestures like when i swing mouse from bottom to upward it use to open app drawer but not after 13.4 it does not happen

Not much you can do about this stuff, except to:
1. report feedback
2. move to another vendor.

I'm resigned to the fact, that everything I own, tvs, headphones, washing machines, computers that have updateable firmware, may/will/have bugs and some update somewhere is going to break something.

FaceTime groupchats still not working as advertised. iPad Air 2 iPad Air 3 iPhone 7 iPhone X: two still get greyed out camera icon and can only hear the others. When calling directly the camera works. A useless update in that regard.

yes i agreed up to certain point but i remember apple realising a fix to fix a previous fix, honestly some people are more understanding that others and have more tolerance, while others simply can’t stand incompetence, i have read comments and complaints from people that reports bugs and apple doesn’t do anything about it ir it takes them for ever to fix something like the mail bug that took for ever to get fixed

Managers are told to come up with a budget. They do, and send it up the chain. It comes back, with a directive to cut it by some percentage.

Testing is always the first to go.

Hope it fixed the issue that 13.4 caused which made almost all Lyrics stop showing in the music app (regardless of whether they came from purchased music or were added by the user) - even though they show in iTunes on the Mac.

This was a quick download, but the install was unusually long on my iPhone 11 Pro. I was holding my breath thinking I might have bricked my phone. 😥

I have the same model bought on day one and I’ve had a noticeable decrease in battery life for the last few months. I did just now turn off background app refresh on a few apps that I barely use that still had it enabled, so we’ll see if that makes a difference. But I’ve had it disabled on most of my apps since the day I got this phone, so I wouldn’t peg all the blame on background app refresh.

At least when the company's users and the media outlets just accept the status quo and don't make a ruckus when stupid bugs occur over and over again.

Apple today released iOS and iPadOS 13.4.1, minor updates that come two weeks after the release of iOS and iPadOS 13.4, major updates that introduced iCloud Folder Sharing, a new Mail toolbar, trackpad support for the iPad, and more.

ryanscoolios13thumbnail.jpg

The iOS and ?iPadOS? 13.4.1 updates are available on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. To access the updates, go to Settings > General > Software Update.

The update addresses an issue that prevented devices running iOS 13.4 from participating in FaceTime calls with devices running iOS 9.3.6 and earlier or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier. It also fixes a bug in the settings app that could cause choosing Bluetooth from the quick actions menu on the Home screen to fail.

Discovered shortly after the release of iOS 13.4 and macOS 10.15.4, the FaceTime issue prevented iPhones, iPads, and Macs running these updates from making or receiving FaceTime calls from older devices that aren't able to upgrade, such as the iPad 2, third-generation iPad, iPhone 4S, the first-generation iPad mini, and the fifth-generation iPod touch.

It wasn't clear if the problem was caused by a bug or was intentional, but the fix included in today's update clarifies that Apple did not mean to remove the option for devices running iOS 13.4 to communicate with older devices. Full release notes for the iOS 13.4.1 update are below:The iPadOS 13.4.1 update fixes the same two issues, but also addresses a third bug that could cause the flashlight not to turn on on the new 11 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models after the Flashlight button in Control Center or the Lock screen is tapped. Fac Timing

iOS 13.4.1 could be one of the last updates to the iOS 13 operating system as Apple prepares to transition work to iOS 14. There will be at least one additional update, though, as Apple is already beta testing iOS 13.4.5.

My brother just updated to version 14 on his iPhone which stopped him from Facetiming my 92 year mother on her Verizon 9 iPad. How will Apple fix this now???
