bugeteSTI before you disagree let me just recommend you do some reaserch and find out the way ios 13 started, full of bugs, like 5 updates in less than a week, if that is good quality control for you, i have no objection, but if you disagree please write why. apple has lower quality standards and not just the software, alsobthe hardware and that is the painfull truth

Apple still unable to fix mail, reminders ands calendar!!!! WOW!!!!!

Sarcasm is the only way I can deal with apple’s ineptitude!

Yep, this is getting tiresome. Especially if you have a lot of Apple devices. In the past, these quick "point" releases to fix bugs were few and far between. Now, its every release that a sub-release follows it within days.
I just want to know who are these people who still actually install the latest releases as soon as the come out???? Are they slow learners?

this is weird ... I installed 13.4.1 on my IPAD and now HomeKit has lost all 27 of my LIFX bulbs and my ECOBEE thermostat, yet my libratone, Schlage, and other devices are fine ...

if IPAD OS is attempting to function has a HomeKit hub, I got problems

My iPad 6th gen rear camera is still not functioning. It shows a black screen. Stopped working right after 13.4 update. Tried everything to include iTunes restore to no avail. Unbelievable Apple!

I still update day 1 sadly because I’m trying to fix the things broken from prior updates. With that said, 13.4.1 is good and stable for me right now.

I'm hoping this address the issue of my XR making popping noises coming from the speaker. Because if it's a failing of the phone, there's no way I can get to Apple to have them look at in the current COVID-19 environment.

That is not good news. My iPad & iPhone are still able to control LIFX, WeMo and Ikea devices after the update BUT I have an Apple TV as the Home Hub. I have Settings/Home/"Use this iPad as a Home Hub" turned off.

I wonder if this will fix the ongoing iPhone SE/Apple Watch issues.

That’s why my iPhone SE remains on iOS 12, and watch S3 is on watchOS 5. I ain’t budging. watchOS 5 has seriously devalued Siri/dictation, and Apple Support has no idea what’s wrong, but it’s not worth trading those bugs for bigger/newer bugs. (It was near-flawless on watchOS 4 and iOS 11)

Why do so many of you complain about free updates. All I hear is how iOS is so bad. I been with iPhones since iOS 9. I install every beta update that comes out on my primary device. When I report bugs, I want to improve iOS on a daily use level. Nobody is forcing you to stay on iOS or use any Apple products. If iOS is that bad, buy an android device. Let’s see how many updates you actually get.

I think the complaint here isn’t about getting free updates, it is about the serious drop in quality control. Every update lately has been breaking things which will require 3 additional patches to kinda fix it all with the twist of breaking new stuff. Folks are now gun shy and hold off if their devices are doing good.

What iOS version broke everything?

You have to realize every device is not the same. One person problem is an improvement with another. Different regions as well as carriers. Not saying problems don’t exist, but it’s usually due to manufacturing. For example, an iPhone XR May have came from a bad batch when released. However, the same phone released after a million hit production may be just fine. Things happen in warehouses. Someone could have dropped device during production.

Still, as far as iOS is concerned, the buggiest version of iOS I have ever dealt with. iOS 13 has been utter sh** on my iPhone 7. Apps force closing, poor memory management in Safari tabs, Springboard crashes, battery drain (I've had my battery replaced twice in two years). If this is one of the last releases of iOS 13, I have two words: good riddance.

My brother just updated to version 14 on his iPhone which stopped him from Facetiming my 92 year mother on her Verizon 9 iPad. How will Apple fix this now???

Version 14 isn't out yet. Not sure what he downloaded.

Quick update on my 11 Pro:

- force touch/bluetooth/settings bug is fixed although my external speaker disappeared from the list and had to pair again. Anyway, nothing major there.. 🤣

- I was shrugging off the comments about battery drain but the truth is, I was also surprised to notice throughout the week it's been going from 99% to something like 55% within the afternoon just by streaming music to my speaker. This level of drain just did not happen before and the 11 Pro battery is a beast

- Personal hotspot is still a potato. My Mac keeps popping the "make sure your phone is turned on and in range" alert dialog even if they're literally next to each other. Already reset network settings after 13.4 but alerts started popping again after a couple days. Setting flight mode on and off seems to help but I prefer NOT to have to keep doing that

Bizarre but my iPad Home app suddenly reported "No response" for several LIFX and WeMo devices but when I tapped on theIr icons they became active. Go figure... I will see if Automations still works overnight (turning lights off etc)
