Apple Releases iPhone OS 3.0

OK.. so far it seems like that the voice recorder is not responding very good. Something that is not reported which is cool now on the missed calls and received calls it shows wither the call was from Mobile or otherwise. Which is really cool. I was looking forward to delete individual calls from the list of calls received or made but it is not possible. Some where I read that would be something I could do with this update.
 
I think that could be incoming data, maybe?
When I had Verizon I had a similar icon that represented incoming data/sms/phone call. But that is a good question.
 
Interesting different look to some of the icons. The Messages, Phone and iPod buttons now have a kind of fabric look to their appearance. Does feel pretty darn responsive at first blush. Unfortunately my signal reception has always been zero in my office so it's going to be a couple more hours before I can see how well stuff works.

How do you sync notes back to a PC? Also, how do you get the battery percentage to show up next to the battery icon?
 
I updated mine, just to wonder there is no background notification section in my settings? Did apple pull this? I don't even see it on the apple site mentioning it is it me or did I just miss something?

That.. makes no sense?

If you have an iPod touch you just use your existing wireless network to get Internet on the iPod. If you connect your Mac to the Internet using Ethernet, use Internet Sharing available in System Preferences.

That has to be done on a per-app basis. Certain apps will have that functionality and certain apps won't. There is no setting for it.
 
Question: I heard there is no need to restore with this update, so does that mean I could upgrade from my work computer and not lose any data, or should I wait till I get home where all my data syncs normally?
 
Movie download error!

I tried to download a rented movie and it gives me "Download error. Tap to retry." I have tried several times.:mad:
