Exchange contacts
I had to turn off exchange contacts sync, then turn it back on and my contacts are now back.

I have beta 5 of the OS 3.0. When I go to Itunes, it tells me I have the latest version. Any idea how to get the new release?

The Apple servers are just taking a hit from all of this. Wait a bit and everything should be back to normal.... maybe.
Maybe tomorrow things will slow down.
what he means is you can create one using your Mac.
it's called internet sharing - and many people use this to create wifi networks in their home. do a little MRoogling/googling and you can learn about it.
or just try it out
sys prefs->sharing->share my 'Ethernet' connection via 'Airport'
and check 'Internet Sharing' to turn it on.

I don't remember seeing another Iphone 3G S review on any other place...
By the way, I have the 2G Iphone unlocked. Anybody thinks it is safe to update to 3.0? I don't care about jailbreak, I just wan to to use it in my carrier in Brazil.
Thanks.

No, that is for spotlight search. Is it correct that in 3.0 there are a couple of more screens for apps, PLUS there is one screen to the left of the HOME screen where you can put your favorite apps for easy access?
I have the last beta before the Gold Master release installed on my iPhone. When trying to upgrade it says I have 3.0 the latest version.
How should we go about updating? Can someone provide the direct firmware link from where iTunes it downloading the file from?
Or if there is a way to empty the firmware on the Mac computer. According to: http://www.intomobile.com/2009/02/03/recover-disk-space-lost-to-iphone-os-firmware-files.html There is a folder where the firmware is stored, but on my computer that folder does not exist in homefolder/library/itunes/
Other beta users also see the absence of this folder?
Same here. I need mine to remain unlocked. Anyone have any idea on this one yet?
