How do I download the 3.0

I have beta 5 of the OS 3.0. When I go to Itunes, it tells me I have the latest version. Any idea how to get the new release?

None of the hyped features yet availible to ATT people (MMS, Push, etc..)... excitment and newness now fading..

Got it! It works! -- Now I want to know about the video quality of the new iPhone. Should I be a prat and spend the dosh?

Favorites Screen

Is it correct that in 3.0 there are a couple of more screens for apps, PLUS there is one screen to the left of the HOME screen where you can put your favorite apps for easy access?

Copy/paste works well. MMS works very nicely, too.

All good so far . . .

(with Rogers in Canada.)

Why dont you people just google it and download it from somewhere else? The file has been out over a week now...

Is it just me or is shutting down the iPhone after the update really slow? Also when starting up, it goes to the lock screen as oppose to the main menu.

iTunes installed the update but it now won't connect to my phone. I pretty much have a brick and I've never even jailbroke or installed any unauthorized apps on my phone. I'm running into error -9807

I have the last beta before the Gold Master release installed on my iPhone. When trying to upgrade it says I have 3.0 the latest version.

How should we go about updating? Can someone provide the direct firmware link from where iTunes it downloading the file from?

Or if there is a way to empty the firmware on the Mac computer. According to: http://www.intomobile.com/2009/02/03/recover-disk-space-lost-to-iphone-os-firmware-files.html There is a folder where the firmware is stored, but on my computer that folder does not exist in homefolder/library/itunes/

Other beta users also see the absence of this folder?

click restore, should work for you then. Thats what I had to do

Same here. I need mine to remain unlocked. Anyone have any idea on this one yet?

Apparently the 2G's baseband isn't upgraded

On another note been playing with 3.0 and i have to say its a tad laggy compared to 2.2.1 especially when moving into landscape mode but its by no means the catastrophy that was 2.0
