What happened to Winamp?![]()
WIFI-Sync is terrible on a 3GS, the battery dies so fast, even if I'm not at home. Clearly this is a bug that needs an update.
I turned it off and things are fine again.
I just found out that the 3GS won't support the location reminders. That kind of.. defeats the whole point of the reminders app.

iCloud isn't supported on SL, it will require 10.7.2. An update to 10.6.9 is rumored, but nothing official from Apple either way yet.
Wi-Fi syncing was one of my most anticipated features, but it turns out that it sucks. Your iPhone/iPad still has to be plugged into a power source. Cut the cord my butt.
Well, both exist. You will have your iCloud backup of your device, as well as a local backup in iTunes if you are syncing via Wi-Fi.
I thought WiFi Sync activity was limited to when you're on a power source (or at least had that option)?
My understanding -Couldn't read all posts. But - as far as I understood the matching only takes place in the cloud? So, if I am some were without internet connection I cannot get to the music correct? I won't get a physical copy onto my local iTunes?
No, not even if you just restart iTunes. Resets everything.Does this support the resume feature in LION? For example if I finished listening to a specific track. If I restart my mac, then would it continue to play (or at least list) the same track?
Thanks.

You can manually kick it off without a power connection from either the phone or the computer.... It automatically starts the sync when you connect to power.
The didn't say wireless charging. It really makes sense to initiate the wireless sync when it connects to a charger.... that is typically when the phone is put to bed for the night and will have lots of time to backup and sync changes.
BTW I think they still have wires inside the iPhone too <GASP>
