I know, right? MacRumors should be AndroidRumors because the community seems to hate everything about Apple nowadays.
A nice change but I still cross my fingers in hopes we get a suite of Apple applications that each have their own function

Apple Music
iTunes (local music & podcasts)

I've come to click on you again
because a vision softly creeping
left its seeds while I was sleeping,
and the version that was planted in my brain still remains,
within the iTunes playlists
Slightly adapted!
What event?Today was more exciting than Apple's March event.
I can totally see some benefits to that, but when my iDevice is plugged in and I'm trying to organize it or figure out what's taking up all the space I need to go in six different apps (don't forget about iTunes U).
Which app is going to show me storage requirements? Sync and backup?
We need a sync app for that or they need to update iSync.

Except now if you hide it, there is no view picker (formerly on the top right corner.) So no way to switch between album or artist view, and no way to get to your playlists.
The sidebar is now mandatory for full navigation, whereas it was optional before.
Why would they change the media type icons for a dropdown menu? It was way easier to navigate between different media before.
... The User eXperience feels degraded.
What do you use instead?Who cares? I stopped using iTunes a couple of years ago when it "lost" a 300+ collections of CDs I'd ripped to my Mac.
