I just found this site in Safari's history. I have never heard of this site nor did I ever go to it. Talk about strange.

And argh, Apple still hasn't fixed OS X's Power Management that was borked in 10.5.3 where it raised CPU temps from 118-121 F to 122-131 F.

Can't be bothered to read the whole thread at half 11 at night but one piece of good news: Stacks grids are now seamless when you open them! (at least for me). Before they used to stutter quite badly...

And Safari seems snappier too.... :D

After installing Mac OS 10.5.4 on both of my Macs, I did notice them to be a little snappier. Even websites load faster on Safari. Also, maybe this is my imagination but better image quality too.
After the most recent update to OS X, - I noticed that in addition to Safari being snapper, the internet smelled fresher...as if it was just after a summer rain.

Ooooh! New AirPort Extreme firmware!

Just opened AirPort Utility on 10.5.4, and it's popped up to tell me about v7.3.2. Installing it now, will report back if anything's changed...

You did not just say that. I'm no grammar nazi, but speak ENGLISH!

Gotta live the english lovin Americans (not saying thats the case here, but the humor is good:) :

How about turning the clock to the 11th or 12th. That will shut all you .Me speculators up I hope. This thread is extremely useless.

I worked at Apple, and most people did not want to buy .Mac. In fact, about 20% of sales was the average. Explain to me why you all are interested here, when the company average is around 20%.

There's probably going to be a 5 MB update when it's officially launched with some pics and a new pref pane. Let's hear more about user experience and bugs with this new version instead of speculation, go elsewhere for that (another thread would suffice).

You say that, but they have over a million active users, so it's obviously a success. What's a million x $99 again?

does anyone have problems with ichat video.
its doesn't work anymore...

please try it before making a post to the forum
let me know if it works, the video part that is....

I'm still on version 5.3.2. Are you SURE of the version number you have?
Morod

My AirPort Utility is still at v5.3.2, but there's new firmware for one of my AirPort base stations. :)

Give this a shot (if it definitely worked before the update):

Amen. I'm sick of it just dropping my connection when it feels bored. This is with an AEB by the way!. Part of the reason i haven't fully switched to Leopard yet. Tiger doesn't have this issue

I have a Gigabit Airport Extreme Base Station and don't have any problems with it. I would shy away from calling this general a Leopard issue.

After downloading the mammoth combo update and installing, wireless is back up, iSync now works, and all is right with the world again :D

Dunno why but in the small 10.5.x updates Software Update gives me it's missing certain things that don't make my system happy. Weird

mine keeps timing out now...

All is well

No problems here. No real changes from what I can tell either yet though. I still have my gripes with Leopard. The earlier post about iCal going kaputt scared me but all is well here.

By the way Spotlight did reindex for me - so the system will be very slow until that finishes.

HELP! I just updated, it restarted and now it wont boot! All I get is a white screen after I hear the boot sound, any ideas? This is the first time this has happened to me, I have so much important stuff I didn't backup, any ideas anyone?
