Screensaver

I just hope it fixes an issue I've had with my iMac 27" with the screensaver turning off after coming on for a few seconds, showing the "Enter Password" dialog (as I have that enabled in Security Preferences), and making it so I can't reliably have my machine go to sleep at night or over weekends.

It would be awesome if so...

73 days after the release of 10.6, 60 days after 10.6.1.

By comparison, 10.5.2 (which was even more highly anticipated) took 108 days from the release of 10.5, 88 days from 10.5.1.
Yeah, the only difference is 10.5.1 wasn't as crippled as 10.6.1.

Well, it's like asking me to stop using OS X, stop using Safari and then trying a website on IE for Mac on OS 9...no, thanks.
That's nice for you but what about the rest of us trying to playback HD content and/or use MKV? Or dare I say it use non-Apple software on OS X. :p

Set fans to maximum and get ready to drop frames!
But captain we have a 8600M GT!?
Irrelevant!

This is a security feature, not a bug; and it's been there since forever. If you don't type your password after a few seconds, OS X will get back to sleep.

This is the same 10C540 that was released to devs last week. I guess there goes Atom support...

Yup. Updating Now.

157.7 MB on Early 08 MBP.

157.7Mb on my 13" MacBook Pro,

same size on my Early 2008 15" MacBook Pro

I have Early 08 17" and it's 500MB here. Do both of you have magic mouse? I'm thinking people with magic mouse already got some of the updates and it cut down some of the size but 300mb difference is too big for that. I wonder why.

Seriously? All of us will have the same OS in the end, you just don't need some of the other updates like graphic drivers that your system probably don't have.

I don't think 10.6.1 was planned to be 10.6.1, it might have been developed quickly from scratched to fix some issues and 10.6.2 was suppose to be the real 10.6.1 starting from post 10.6 development process. That's my opinion and I could be absolutely wrong about this.
