Done installing. Might take a while, so don't be alarmed. All seems well.

Looks like no changes to Magic Mouse gestures except for (I assume) native support.

Safari feels snappier.

9CC2 issue FIXED

I'm happy to report the 9CC2 panel bug is fixed in 10.6.2!

The brightness setting now goes smoothly all the way down. When on minimum brightness (just one notch above turning the backlight off) I get almost 8 hours of battery life reported in the battery indicator, at 90%. In 10.6.1 this would be less than 5 hours, because of the increased brightness and the assorted energy consumption.

Worth updating for this reason alone (for me).

Same, took a while to install.

Safari does seems a little snappier too.

It fixed all my Maya issues so I'm very happy. Time to update my main desktop machine :)

I don't remember getting notifications that i forced quit something before. I don't need to be told, i know i did it!

I just hope it fixes an issue I've had with my iMac 27" with the screensaver turning off after coming on for a few seconds, showing the "Enter Password" dialog (as I have that enabled in Security Preferences), and making it so I can't reliably have my machine go to sleep at night or over weekends.

It would be awesome if so...

Do you have SSH enabled? Port 21 or 22 open on your router? Whenever you get pinged it wakes your screen. Drives me nuts.

Fixes Photoshop Menlo font bug

10.6.2 fixes the Photoshop CS3 crash bug when selecting the new Menlo font. :D

I'm curious, why is my update 157.7MB and others are 500MB?
My Mac is a Mac Pro3,1, can anyone shed some light on this? I'm on 10.6.1.

Different machines have different requirements that require either the combo or delta updates depending on what system you have and what you are upgrading from...

The vast majority of people get the smaller update but sometimes you require the bigger one if your system needs it.

Ah ok, that is great. Thanks.
